Came here for our 1st year anniversary break. Arrived at the hotel and was greeted with a warm welcome at reception. Room was small but nice, bathroom was a good size. Didnt spend much time in the hotel after arriving as we wanted to get ready and go out for food. Bed was comfortable and had a good nights sleep....

I stayed at Eyre Square Hotel for four nights early June 2015. The hotel is a traditional small and nice hotel, not very new. The room was small - I was traveling solo - , bed and bathroom were good and clean. The view from the window was a bit disappointing, it was facing an inner yard, a narrow shaft...

When enquiring about moving to another room and showing a staff member the problems in the room they tell me they don't have to listen to this and walk away. If you want to go back in time stay here but don't talk to your companion or turn the micro tv on or the neighbours will complain.I could keep listing...

We were a group of 25 traveling together and the Eyre Square fit the bill perfectly ! Lovely staff, full breakfast included and optional lunch and dinner available. The old European style (no modern upgrades )was fine with me as the price was affordable. So if you are looking for a relative bargain, Eyre Square is a good choice.

just in the centre, so location perfect. hotel room a bit pokey and not as good as Jurys Inn. All in all, ok to stay in but wouldn't be a first choice. Good selection of pubs nearby, also you get to see the other side of Eyre Square which has a good buzz

This place saved us. We stopped at all the hotels around the area and they were all booked and very expensive. The receptionist was so helpful and they were at such a great price. It isn't fancy, but perfect for a one night stay.

I have stayed in the Eyre Square on a couple of occasions and I love the place it is the perfect base for a short stay in Galway. Bars, restaurants, Shopping and nightlife are all within walking distance from the hotel but not to close to disturb your sleep. Rooms are basic but spacious, clean and value for money. The...

The pictures online appear to show a nice hotel. The room (twin) was inexpensive but the hotel got good reviews. This is an old and rundown hotel. Tiny room, no chain or deadbolt on the door, night stands had tops ripped off, rug was sticky and there were stains on the bedding. The room was disgusting! No way we were...
