We visited during a very quiet period and the owner even offered if we wanted a second room free of charge since no one else was staying there. She was so lovely helpful and made us feel right at home. She gave us directions and advice for the town centre. In the morning, she looked after us so well for...

The hostess Rita made me a lovely pot of tea when I finally got settled as it was very cold out side. Lovely little room. The decor of the house suits my style. The breakfast was first class. Rita is a great cook. It is in a ideal location for me since I am doing a course nearby. The hostess...

The room is a bit too small for a family of three and luggage. BUT Rita is a wonderful hostess. Nice place to stay while visiting Galway and the Connemara. You must have a car since it is around 30mn walk to the town center.

Much of the warmth of this lovely B&B comes from the hostess, Rita. She was very helpful with our stay in Galway, giving us maps, and showing us the routes to get into the city, best parking locations, convenient restaurants and possible day trip suggestions. Rita even did some laundry for us . The house was lovely, and our room...

Hostess gave me tea and biscuits both afternoons of my stay. This was appreciated as it was a few hours before dinner. Very generous in offering to drive me from one area to another. Bed was very comfortable, like being at home.

We spent two nights at Moytura. We were in a front room, upstairs with lovely views of Galway Bay. Although the house is on a main road, neither of us was disturbed by traffic noise. Moytura is a little out of the city centre and we took the bus in (10 mins out of peak hour) both nights for dinner...

Nice welcome (when the Gaelic football had finished) lovely room with a great bed. I could have stayed in the shower all morning. Breakfast was also great. Let down minutely as wifi was a bit iffy. Less than a mile from Galway centre. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely neat and clean B&B. The owner was very helpful in providing suggestions and maps of the local sites. She made us feel comfortable and assisting in getting us a taxi for a night out in Galway. The breakfast spread was also good with a cereal, breads and fruit buffet and a hot breakfast...

This is a lovely little B&B just 2 minutes off M6. Rita is a superb host! Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, fast Wifi, free parking - all at a very reasonable price - what else can you ask for you? Highly recommended.

“Maybe a back room since it's not towards the busy road”

“The rooms are small, but quite adequate. There's a street-view with the rooms on the front of the house (one of our party complained of traffic noise, but it did not bother us) and a view of her small back yard if you have a room on the back of the house. There is no air-conditioning.”
