We had a wonderful stay at Woodhaven B&B. Bridie and Joe greeted us warmly, showing us to our room as soon as we arrived. The beds were comfortable and we had an ensuite, which was nice. We requested to have breakfast early, 7:30 AM, which was no problem. We both enjoyed the traditional Irish breakfast and coffee. We would recommend...

We spent 2 nights in this b&b. The landlady is austere but efficient and the husband very nice. Rooms are good and breakfast is prepared at the time you want ( we asked for 7.30 and it was all ready). There is a free parking and good wi-fi. Location is 5 minutes by car from City Center.

This B&B is runned by a very friendly couple. They took their time to do a talk with their guests and were very helpfull and they made a good breakfast. It was located nearby one of the main ways to the city centre of Galway whereby it only took 5 à 10 minutes to ride. The room was ok but...

We startet our Ireland journey in Galway and with Bridie und Joe Curran we had the best start we could have! They were so helpfull, so friendly, we felt so welcome and we got a lot of tips for day trips, pubs and restaurants. And we had the best pancakes in Ireland there...

When my daughter and I arrived in Galway for our two-night stay, we had reservations at a different B&B. However, it turns out our travel agent neglected to make those reservations. While we were able to find a room for the first night, Bridie was kind enough to take us in for our second night and for that we are...

We made reservation over the phone for two rooms. When we arrived, Birdie said there was a plumbing problem so rooms weren't available. She offered us two rooms in a separate building behind the house. She did offer to find us something else if we wanted, but were tired, so accepted. Room and bath were tiny; could feel the springs...

Bridie and Joe are very friendly and helpful. They recommended a great restaurant and pub and had good tips for Galway. The rooms were clean and pretty furnished. Bridie made a very delicious omelette in the morning and we also had fresh fruit! Very good! I forgot my coat in the room and Bridie was so kind to send it...

We stayed here for a night in September; this B&B is located off a busy street and has the appearance of an apartment building, not a traditional B&B. Our room, while clean, was very small. The double bed was old and not comfortable and we could not get WiFi in the room. It was over a 30 minute walk to...

This was the first B&B I've stayed in and I was not disappointed. The room was very spacious and had amenities such as a TV, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The owner was very friendly and helpful with our questions about things to do in Galway, and there are even pamphlets in the room for tourists. The location is just...

Woodhaven Lodge was our first experience in a B&B. Due to the fact that it is a modern house in a development and located on a main road, we were initially disappointed because we were hoping for the 'charm' of an old Irish home. Bridie's warm welcome and hospitality more than made up for it and we had a very...
