When we arrived at this B&B I was very disappointed at the size of the room as there was no room at all for our luggage so we asked for a bigger room. The room that was offered wasn't much better but at least there was a built in wardrobe for a bag to go into and a spot under...

Yes you reserved a double room which you rated too small for your luggage. You were given a room choice and you selected a twin room. 18.7sq meters with a 2 meter 3 door sliderobe wardrobe. The sliderobe is capable of holding multiple pieces of luggage. The twin room had 2 Single beds each I meter wide and side by...

Stayed here for two nights. The owners are the nicest people and are more than helpful. The breakfast was better than you get in a large hotel buffet breakfast. WiFi is good. The room was small but since we were out all day it was not a problem. The bed was comfortable.

Helena was wonderful , the room was clean and roomy. The bathroom was the largest of all our stays which as nice. Helena's breakfasts were wonderful including fresh baked scones. The information provided helped us make the best of our stay.

How do I put into words how wonderful this B&B is? Pat and Helena made us so welcome from the moment we arrived. Pat took us to our rooms and immediately sat down and gave us the directions and a map to the nearest pubs serving food in town. He told us how to get to town driving or walking,...

Pat and Helena were perfect hosts! It was my birthday and Helena had made arrangements for us to have dinner at a wonderful seafood (O'Grady's in Bearna) restaurant on the Galway Bay. Pat drove us to the restaurant (as we were going to celebrate with a bottle of wine and pint or two of Guinness) and we took a cab...

Owners were very nice, booking us in to a room although I messed up a bit on the reservation. They helped us with travel times and had our breakfast ready when we had to leave first thing in the morning. We had a very small room, not like you need a lot but it was tight. The bathroom light is...

Room: Very clean/ lots of storage space/ a hard wood floor (so much better than a typical carpeted room)/ good beddings En-suite: Very clean/ good water pressure with plenty of hot water Pat and Helena: Very helpful and accommodating (Pat is funny!)...

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is beautiful and rooms are very comfortable. The hosts could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The food was very good and cheerfully served. I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone staying in Galway. Georgia Taylor

Clochard B&B is a great place to stay while visiting Galway. We stayed for 2 nights with Pat and Helena and had a wonderful time. The location is just a quick 10-15 min walk to the city center, Quay Street, which made it very convenient to walk to and from city, even at night when returning home from the pub....
