We went to Dublin with another couple and found that the Temple Bar Loft met our needs nicely: each couple had its own bedroom, the bathroom was spacious and in good working order, the common area was very pleasant, the location was superb, and the price was reasonable. As other reviewers have mentioned, noise was an issue. Sound echoes in...

Although the apartment itself was nice, spacious, free wifi, TV and dvd, huge bathroom, complementary shower gel and shampoo the location is awful if you would actually like to sleep at night! It is so incredibly noisy that even with earplugs we couldn't sleep. The front 2 bedrooms are on the street you can hear music from the nearby bars...

Dusty kitchen, filthy utensils, an ironing board that won't stay up, a remote control that needs new batteries, plug sockets that just don't work, light fittings with missing bulbs ... just some examples of things that need sorting with this apartment. It's just laziness on the part of the agency or the owner that means these things aren't rectified. On...

We booked the apartment on the internet knowing that it was located in the middle of Temple Bar and would be in the noisy and busy area. However we thought being a penthouse we would be well above the noise with views over Dublin. How wrong we were. The bedrooms were one storey above ground level with paper thin windows....

The apartments itself is large and spacious with a roof top area which is great on a fine day, although there are no chairs to sit in the sun upon. Its not situated in an apartment block and you enter straight of the street in the middle of Temple Bar. Great location but really noisy if you are sleeping in...

Loved it! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay! We shopped around for hotels and in the end I gave up on looking. I did a search for apartments in Dublin and I found StayDublin.com and found the Temple Bar Apartment. We paid £700 for 6 people for 4 nights (Thurs - Mon) which is reasonable for the...

“Pick the least obnoxious noise for your room: 1. Front bedrooms - pedestrian noise, lorries in the morning. 2. Back bedroom - pub noise, backpackers in the youth hostel.”

“Unless you plan to be out partying in Temple Bar every night do not bother. If you do plan to do that then at least this in conveniently located and a nice spacious apartment. The days are a little quieter than the night so you'd probably manage more sleep then.”
