To be honest, everything was old, really old. Old furniture, old drapes, old tapestry. We asked for a non-smoking room but it still smelled like smoke; we let it rest because we didn't want to risk changing rooms, this one seemed acceptable and that, looking at the state of the place, was the best we could hope for. It's a...

Toilet smelt of sewage, blood on the bed throw, stains on the bed valance, pillows flat as pancakes, holes in the curtains, dust on the carpet, basic bathroom, little comfort - all at the bargain price of £150 per night????? Redeeming feature is the location.

This is a fantastic building in a great location. Unfortunatly the decor is very dated and looks very old and used. Quite a lot of stains in areas however the room itself was not dirty. The beds were very clean and the room was cleaned everyday. As I first said the location is fantastic. We also paid for breakfast which...

We booked here as it had proved difficult to get a room for this particular weekend and it was reasonably priced. The hotel is in a convenient location and is pleasant enough in the communal areas. Our bedroom was of a good size but the decor was tired. The carpet was dirty with numerous stains and the voile curtains were...

This is a lovely building in a great location. However when you first walk in there is no welcoming atmosphere. All the décor is tired and dated. The bedroom was very large with a huge comfy bed but again let down by the décor. Large crack in bath panel, large crack down bathroom wall, toilet roll holder missing, stained carpet...

Getting accommodation in Dublin was proving to be very difficult. I had arrived a week earlier in Sept 2016, for the academic term and Trinity College and had already spent a week looking for accommodation, but to no avail. My booking at my previous place had expired and I had to shift to another place. None of the other B&B's...

This hotel is situated right in the center of Dublin, 2 minutes from the main shopping area, 10 minute walk to the Temple Bar Square, 20 minute walk to the Guiness factory and in amongst all the restaurants and pubs. The staff on reception were very helpful and the room had everything we needed. All amenities worked well and bedroom/bathroom...

I've stayed in this hotel twice- in 2013 and in 2015. There's no reason to stay anywhere else, as it's well located and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a new and shiny luxury hotel, this isn't it. It could use some refurbishing, but it's perfectly suitable and the convenience of its location is a big plus that makes it...

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Dublin and the rooms were a good size and the the stag were extremely helpful. However the first room we were given wasn't great. The beds didn't join together and the sheet the covered the bed base was filthy. The curtain rail looked like it was clinging on to the wall...
