You always expect a hostel to be somewhat basic, but as long as it's clean and comfortable then you've pretty much got what you need. But that doesn't have to be all a hostel provides. I certainly found the place comfortable and clean, and our six-bed room, although it felt small at first, was adequate to accommodate us. And en-suite...

The rooms were nice and very clean with lovely staff at reception however this hostel does not offer any food for people that are gluten free, lactose intolerant or vegan. I went with a group who had a range of all of the above having had a meal pre-paid for and the staff were very unhelpful, giving people with these...

Open to the public as a bar along with the backpackers. Nice decor very original. Good area Smithfield quiet shops right next to Jameson's brewery which is shut until Next week. Just down the road from courts and tram stop.

Some gaff, very nice building and facilities. Exceeded expectations considering the price we paid per person for a night. Very nice burgers also which was a bonus. Would highly recommended for anyone attending a concert etc. in Dublin.

I stayed at Generator Hostel in Dublin for 4 nights. The accommodations were very clean and my rooms mates were really cool. The staff were really friendly, and helped me out with finding interesting stuff to do and visit in and around the city. Generator also has an AWESOME bar on sight, and next door to the old Jameson Factory...

I booked myself for three nights at the Generator Hostel in Dublin mainly because I had heard of the Generator brand of hostels online and wanted to check out the quality of the hostel myself. I booked myself a bed in a 6 dorm bed room with an ensuite bathroom. I landed in Dublin airport and purchased an LEAP visitor...

We stayed in a private room that was spacious and clean, it also had a bathroom and shower which were nice. The food downstairs was lovely and there was a good selection. The bar was nice, there was a good drink selection too!

Stashed in a shared 8 bed room here for one night. Things you should know: - The beds are comfortable, but noisy. They also have a handy light and two power sockets built in. - You have to make your own bed (not easy on top bunk) - If you want to store your luggage outside of check in (2pm)...

The whole staff, facilities, decoration, price, location was very good. Thanks for having me. Will definitely recommend! I would also suggest to have more breakfast options and for meals in general, the Hostel could be more creative. Loved the Smithfield area and the spot is a great start for the city visit, right next to Jameson and Guiness.
