I visited Dublin city in November 2015 and I was happy with this hostel. The location is excellent, you can reach temple bar in 10 15 minutes walking. I used room n1 (the biggest) with its own bathroom and it was quite simple but perfect for a quick visit to the city.

Stayed here for a girls weekend in Dublin and the room was average. Completely reasonable prices of about £15 each a night so can't complain about the room. If you are planning on sight seeing Dublin and not going out much at night, I wouldn't recommend however if you're planning on going out all night and only using the room...

Myself, my husband, my sister, her fiance, our dad and his fiance went to Dublin together. Due to late planning, this was the only place that could book the six of us at a reasonable price. It is about ten minutes walk from St Stephens Green and just outside the house is a bus stop going to the city centre,...

Yes, the hostel is an older building, so (in our case-Room 9) especially the ensuite-bathroom was really small, but that's the only complaint about the whole hostel for me! The twin-room itself (one bunk-bed in it) was spacious, including a bedside table, two chairs and a small table. Breakfast was good (reading comments about "having to go to self-service" makes...

Easy to get to straight from Dublin airport. Highly recommend hopping onto the number 16 bus as it takes you right nearby. Situated alongside a quiet road opposite a church. Upon arrival the welcoming was a very unpleasant experience. The room was basic, noted a missing tv? The bathroom was dangerous- no shower mat? It is what it is,no thrills. Good...

On arriving one member of staff was not very welcoming to say the least. The beds were very small and the bathrooms were not great, but I was a good location on a main bus route and if you are not looking to be in a lot its a good cheap solution. Good tip - The no 16 bus goes...

Stayed here over NYE with 3 friends in a two bunk bed room. The hot water only works between 7am and 10am and at some point in the evening. You are given a fairly sorry looking towel for tour stay. The heating seems unpredictable. The breakfast is very very basic, white bread with toast and jam in pots that are...

Booked a hostel as it was cheaper for a group of us who were visiting dublin. Hosts were so nice! Attentive and happily aided us with requests. Rooms were so so. Bunk beds were creaky and mattresses were basic. Personally I didn't sleep well due to being uncomfortable. The hairdryer supplied broke and so did the additional one we requested....

“Room with private bathroom and nice view.”
asclepios44, 22 Jun 2016 | Read review
“Room 1 at the very top of the hostel is quieter in terms of street and within hostel noise. It's ideal for a couple or solo. Larger family rooms are in the basement, which are also a bit quieter. I had one room on the second floor facing the main street which was definitely the noisiest in terms of street noise and hearing other people moving around the hostel.”
