I have visited Dublin a number of times with work and for pleasure. On my most recent trip, I stayed at the Maldron Hotel In Pearse Street.
It was reasonably central and a short walk from the City Centre and the Financial District.

Sorry I walked in and out it's not too bad a walk, Pearce street dart station is also close if you are looking to travel further than the city centre. I'm sure if you contact the hotel reception they would help.
