Very clean & comfy rooms, like the curtains in particular, with a wide range of kitchen facilities, location is close to the castle, quiet at night. The owners are extremely nice & helped us sorted out where worth to go during our short stay there & also Keith drew a very cute map to show us where to stop on...

We started to think we'd be in for a long night when we noticed the small fan in the corner of the room. We soon found out why - the room we were in was hot as all hell! Our room had no windows or A/C, only a sky window. The heat was truly unbearable and we didn't get a...

I enjoyed my stay at Portobello! The location is more pleasant and convenient than I first thought; buses run every few minutes and it took me a fast 15 minutes walk to the center; staff was nice and friendly; wifi was fast and reliable; breakfast was very good at the pub. Some noise from the pub did not bother me;...

This hotel is located at the junction of a main road (handy for buses into the centre) and the canal. Quite a nice setting on the canal side but would not want to walk along the main road late at night. Was advertised on our booking site as "close to St Stephens Green" but think that was stretching things a...

This place is the bee's knees. We were skeptical after seeing a few bad reviews, but when we arrived here we were so happy we booked this hotel! The front desk staff let us check in early and had the maid clean our room first so we could move our belongings in. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was nice....

Exactly what I needed for my base to explore Dublin over a weekend. Location was ideal, nice view from the room over the river. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room itself was ideal but the bathroom could do with updating - there was lots of filler everywhere and the shower was more like a tap than anything else. Putting...

My bedroom was beside reception so I was kept awake by doors opening and closing all night, and by the night porter chatting at 4am. The room was spacious with wifi, tea and coffee and a large tv. The carpet could do with a clean and the bed was not the most comfortable. The bathroom had been recently upgraded and...
