We stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel and from the minute we entered the hotel had a great experience. Hotel is really lovely. Rooms are nice, breakfast lovely and the bar area is a lovely place to relax in. Staff were great too. Will definitely stay there again.

Starting off a couple of years ago we had a great dining experience at The Schoolhouse Hotel. Even back then I looked around and thought the dining room would make a lovely wedding venue. Back to the relative present (February) and we were shortlisting venues for our wedding celebration. We had a few options on the list and the first...

Dear Cristin, Thank you so much for taking the time to post this review. It was such a pleasure dealing with you and Clive both in the lead up to your 'Big Day' and also throughout. I genuinely wish you both every happiness in your married life together. Don't forget to pop in and visit us every now and then!...

We enjoyed our stay in this revamped old Schoolhouse - it appears that the rooms have names and we stayed in the James Joyce room. On first appearences it appears nicely decorated but on closer examination our room was looking a little tired - especially the bathroom. Having said that - it was most comfortable and what we needed. It...

Stayed here for 3 nights as I was in Dublin to run the marathon. Had 2 rooms as was with my parents and my boyfriend. We all thought it was a great place to stay. Central, quirky and great facilities. The staff really went above and beyond to look after us. Would recommend this as a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel in late October 2014 and were very pleased with the staff, hotel room, breakfast, pub, and location. A charming boutique hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of the main downtown activities. Next to the canal so great for running, biking and walking. We enjoyed the breakfast as well...

This Hotel is simply fantastic! I have stayed there on numerous occasions and it excels every time. Their personal touch & attention to detail is always a fantastic trait at this hotel. Their breakfast is lovely too, one of the nicest breakfasts around with great choices including Pancakes - a personal favorite of mine. I would definitely return to this...

Just stayed at Schoolhouse Hotel for 2 days. Receptionist who was there all weekend ( attention management- her name is Emma ) was the only truly rude staff member that we encountered over 2 weeks traveling in Ireland. Upon arrival, gave one word answers to my questions and was clearly not interested in helping us . Completely flat/cold affect. On...

This hotel has a really attractive bar/restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food is good quality and is cooked and presented with care. The staff are efficient and charming - nothing is too much trouble. We will return.

We held our wedding reception in the Schoolhouse in September 2014. We were organising our wedding from Australia and from the first time we made contact with Therese (GM) we were met with professionalism, friendliness and prompt replies to our numerous emails and enquires. Therese made herself available to meet with us prior to our wedding day to select our...

We arrived in Dublin at 5AM, and, after requesting an early check-in before we departed from home and not being guaranteed it, we were so excited to arrive at the hotel to a room ready for us; this was particularly clutch given that we had a very full day of sightseeing planned after half a day of travel across the...
