This is a really nice hotel, not in the city centre but only a 15 minute walk away, alternatively the tram swings past the hotel's front door. Our room was large and had a view of the Guinness brewery (mmmmmmm). The excellent breakfast consisted of every breakfast option ever created by man, regrettably an overindulgence of Guinness restricted me to...

Niamh, the bookings manager, got us in at shorter notice than usual (my fault!) and although the view from our room wasn't the best (we had a wall), we can't complain about the service - it didn't detract from our stay at all. Once again, the staff proved why my family always come back to The Ashling and we make...

Stayed here for the weekend. Although it is to the east of the City near Heuston Rail Station it is well situated for The Guinness Storehouse, Royal Hospital/Irish Museum of Modern Art and Kilmainham Jail. We walked to all three and also into town although you can just as easily use the Luas (tram) or bus from Heuston Station. The...

I stayed at the Ashling during our first night of an 8 day self drive tour of Ireland. Maybe because the rest of our accommodations were so good during the rest of the trip, that I only gave it 3 stars. I may of been the jet lag as well. The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast buffet....

Dublin hotels are often small and very expensive. This place is neither. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is very nice with well appointed rooms, and the service is second to none. All the staff are very friendly and ready to help at any time. The breakfast is great and service is very good. I would happily stay here again!
