A lovely hotel very clean extremely friendly and very helpful staff,The stay was booked by our family for my husbands birthday, staff upgraded room when they realised it was part of a birthday present indeed a lovely gesture. Fantastic stay in Dublin and would recommend the Mespil Hotel. Enjoyed our double aspect room, Any niggles were small (tired sofa, TV reception a little indeterminate and lights a little too energy saving) with the room both clean and comfortable. Breakfast is over priced (we used the pastry shop a few doors along after the first day, which is so...

Hotel was booked through the rugby travel company so didn't know what to expect. First impressions were good. Communal areas lovely & obviously recently refurbished. Reception was efficient & painless. Rooms very tired. Need a bit of TLC. Curtains probably were white at one time. Cracks in the tiles in the bathroom & sink. Toilet right behind the door so...

We stayed here St. Patty's day weekend. Prices were a bit high but probably because of holiday. Staff were very nice and helpful. Gated parking. Rooms were pretty nice. Food was just ok. Bar staff very nice. Quick response to call for extra towels. Close to public transit. Only real complaint was it's next to recycling place and morning after...

We were a group of 13, 9 of whom have stayed for International rugby weekend many times before. Hotel has been refurbished since last visit and whilst reflected in price, proved well worth the money given it was St Patrick weekend as well. Presentation, cleanliness, breakfast and service all faultless. Only criticism is that their systems wouldn't allow us to...

Stayed here last weekend when down for the brad paisley concert. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but had all we required as it was really just a place to sleep. Bed was very comfy. Hotel lobby looked lovely. Cant comment on food as we didnt eat in hotel. Would recommend to others!

I have stayed in the Mespil a number of times in the past but not since the new renovations. I was pleasantly surprisedby by the new look. The hotel looks fresh and welcoming. The staff as usual were attentive and willing to help and give advice. The room which was towards the front of the hotel gave wonderful panoramic views...

We booked this hotel as part of a package. Hotel exceeded our expectations. Only downside was the room view, an office building and parking lot. We didn't ask for a canal view, but that would be a big improvement. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast, which was included, had plenty of options. We did have a drink one night...

The Mespil is wonderful, staff are very attentive and the lounge was friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was terrific, didn't eat any other meals here. The proximity to many places to eat or drink was a short walk. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra 3 nights!
