Stayed here for one night (thanks be to God) recently. Definitely won't be back! Staff were friendly but the place belongs in a hostel museum. Today's hostels are a much better standard. The rooms have one charge point for six people, so much so that...More
The staff was friendly but the atmosphere was different than expected. The pictures on the website and the reality aren't the same. It's absolutely not clean, we found mold, dust, an old fingernail and trash on the floor. It got me allergy problems. The fan...More
The place is right in the center of Dublin, you get to pretty much every tourist attraction by foot, and the airport is only 30 min by bus.
It was surprisingly calm given the hostel is right next to a busy street.

Be prepared in case the driver forgets. Before you travel, I suggest going to Google Maps. Search Kinlay House, Dublin. Pick up the "person" at the bottom right corner of the map and drop it in front of the hostel. Now you can familiarize yourself with the area at street level. There are signs on posts for the Airport Shuttle and the Hop On Hop Off buses. We purchased our Shuttle tickets online before we left on vacation.
