Jury's Inn Christchruch was perfect for our 2 night stay. We booked via secret escapes website which included a bottle of a prosecco and early check in, unfortunately we were told their check in policy is 4pm rather than 3pm (like our booking said) however they provided a space to leave our bags and we went back 2 hours before check in and we were allowed to check in early as our room was ready so always worth checking. The room were spotless and beds were very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location and we had a nice view of the cathedral opposite. The windows have double glass and once this is closed there was no noise from the street outside which was great. Breakfast was included in our stay (but I believe it is 11 euro per person per night which would definitely be worth the money). The food was tasty, there was a hot buffet as well as lots of different options including porridge, cereals, smoothies and bottled water which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying here again on our next trip to Dublin. Currently the rooms do not get cleaned during your stay due to covid procedures which was no issue for our 2 night stay but may be something to consider if staying for a longer trip (you could however request fresh linin and towels).

Stayed in July last year and had such a great time I decided to treat myself to an executive room on my last visit in November due to a whole range of extra amenities with this type of room. Early check inn, late checkout , more spacious room which includes bottle water, chocolates and minerals in the Fridge and daily costa coffee as well as in room. On arrival I was warmly greeted by Mathew on reception, from my loyalty or past custom he could see I had stayed before and confirmed my room and asked had I any preference of room number etc. I requested one of the larger ones if
Possible and he allocated room 525 which provided a lovely view of Christchurch. After settling in I went down to the bar to have some food and it was great to see a nice crowd for a Sunday night and a lovely festive atmosphere both business people and family’s. I did notice a few familiar faces when ordering a blonde hair young girl who was very helpful in July when I stayed prior and an American girl. Usually with a chain hotel you get a high turnover for staff so good to see a good retention of staff . I had a veggie chick pea curry , although pricey at €18 and 5€ for chips quite pricey for Jury’s but at the same time tasty and plenty in it served with both rice NaN and pompdum and included mango chutney and yoghurt dip. After dinner I retired to the room and indulged in a coffee and kit cat included in the room before calling it a night. I slept great and was well rested for my exam when I woke up. Breakfast is always good in Jury’s Christchurch and always fresh and tasty but can be busy at times so often use the bar as an overflow area . After breakfast I needed a document printed and Alexsandra offerd to print it for me and asked me to forward to it. I was encountering problems so she told me the nearest cafe down the road. This is
Not the first time I dealt with Alex’s as in my July stay she answers any queries I had . I am due to return again on the 18 Jan to celebrate my 30th birthday with a friend and have booked the family executive room for some luxury and easy access to some
Dublin nightlife. Thanks again for a great stay see ye on the 18th January.

Jurys Inn Christchurch, is situated perhaps the best location, in Dublin City Centre. My room was simple, yet warm, luxurious and comfortable, overlooking Christchurch Cathedral opposite. My bed was so comfortable, I was off to sleep in no time. The room was exceptionally clean, and was fully equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom was equipped with a full bath, a choice of toiletries, and hot water for a hot shower, whenever I needed it. A full buffet breakfast, starting at 6.30 am, was impressive in terms of choice and quality of food. I would definitely return to Jurys Inn Christchurch, and in fact have already made another booking. Overall, very satisfied with Jurys Inn Christchurch.

We had an issue with the quality of the breakfast offered during the covid pandemic. Normally it is a beautiful buffet spread and well worth it but for the same price the room service breakfast they were offering paled in comparison; a paper bag containing an air sealed croissant, juice carton, fruit, yoghurt etc - the type you would get on an airplane and passed off as "continental breakfast".

We would have preferred not to have breakfast at all in this case and expressed our disappointment to the staff at the expense of this meal and they kindly reimbursed us. We also had a broken bathtub but they immediately sent maintenance up and the issue was fixed in a matter of minutes.

We understand that these are just hiccups as they try to keep open during the pandemic and could see they were working hard to keep guests happy. Other than that the room was clean, spacious and comfortable and very gold location.

We stayed 1 night in Jurys Christchurch as we were heading to the Panto in the Olympia so it was the perfect location to just walk to the theatre. Lovely Christmas atmosphere in the hotel. Very clean. Only thing was the family room was small but as we had 3 kids they had to put in an additional pull out bed that used up any available space, but as this is a city hotel I understand to expect smaller rooms.

We went to Jurys inn Christchurch Dublin on a family trip there were 2 adults 4 children and a baby, when we arrived to check in we were informed due to covid they do not accept cash, first we were informed we had changed all are money from Sterling to euros , manager came to speak to us her attitude from the min she arrived was absolutely terrible ,she said this is stated on our homepage, I informed her I wasn’t on the home page I went online put in the dates I wished to go to Dublin and what hotels had availability this hotel popped up so I clicked on it and made the booking, I was sent a confirmation email, not once did it mention that you couldn’t pay in cash it just said pay now or pay at hotel and I selected hotel, I explained all this to the manager who’s name was Aleksandra I have never met anyone so rude in all my life her mannerism was absolutely terrible, her reply to me was well we don’t accept cash so would you like me to cancel your booking now and you can go, this made me really angry considering we had just drove 4 hours to get here we had 4 children and a baby with us the children were excited for a few days away and she said all this in front of them, so they started to get upset thinking they were not going to have a holiday And we would have to drive home, thankfully a member of family was able to transfer the money to me so I could pay the stay with my card her treatment to us was appalling. So we check in to be informed that the rooms can’t be cleaned every day due to covid so I said ok, considering we were staying for 4 days I would expect the room to be cleaned at least once, on the 2 night myself and my son took really sick serious vomiting and diarrhoea it was uncontrollable, I went to reception and got an antibacterial spray to try clean the place up a bit and asked reception could our room please be cleaned that day, I was then informed sorry we can’t clean room because of covid I said yes when I was checking in you told me it can’t be cleaned every day due to covid, but all of a sudden this rule had changed to can’t b cleaned at all, it’s no bloody wonder we took sick all the bacteria in the rooms people spreading germs so I asked for the hoover and there cleaning products and did it all myself to ensure the rest of the kids didn’t take sick, we then got organised to go to our car which we parked in the recommended car park which leads out from the hotel to the car park called Q car park to find that my car had been broken into during the night, I had no valuables in the car but the drivers window was completely put through which was a complete handling for us trying to find somewhere down there to install a new window hotel we’re of no help at all and not interested in what had happened, 4 other cars where also done the same night so safe to say I will never ever be back at this hotel or I would never recommend it to anyone it was the worst hotel experience I ever had. So warning to anyone that is thinking of going here STAY AWAY!!!

This hotel is in a great location and could be really nice but it needs to sort out the service to guests, in particular cleaning of roons , refreshing towels , refreshing tea coffee etc and emptying bins . They appear to only be cleaning roons that have been vacated and this appears to be a staff shortage issue . It’s not cheap and they need to sort this out .

Management at the hotel were very responsive when we fed back that we were unhappy with our room and moved us to a new one as well as giving us drnks vouchers

Breakfast is a hot buffet which had a good choice of options and it was hot .

Roons are ok but could do with more sockets ( most people have several devices needing charging these days )

Staff are friendly and helpful

Stayed here during the week for 2 nights and got the staycation which was brilliant. We got breakfast, dinner one night with a bottle of wine, the kids got to eat free too and receive a welcome package all for a very good price. We upgraded to the executive room which was worth the money as we had two double beds, a couch, a nespresso machine and we received early and late check out which was very handy.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city. Grafton street, Templebar and O’Connell street is all only a few minutes walk(5-10mins). If you’re coming from Hueston station you can take the Luas, get off at the four courts and it’s only a 5 minute walk over the bridge which is very convenient.

We eat in the hotel both nights as one night was free and it wasn’t worth the hassle trying to find somewhere in Dublin as places are very limited with the outdoor dining. The food was nice and the menu was fine. I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have a steak on the menu but no big deal. They have a good choice for kids as well. Breakfast wasn’t great because there currently not serving breakfast as they would normally do. Instead at 7am you receive a bag at your door which orange juice, fruit bowl, yoghurt and a croissant which was okay and it does fill the stomach until you get a proper breakfast. They do serve a sausage roll or a bacon ciabatta but unfortunately they weren’t great. We honestly didn’t mind though because we were planning on being in town early and just ate breakfast out. A quick Google will bring up loads of options.

The best part of our stay which were the staff. Honestly couldn’t praise everyone we encounter enough. The ladies on reception were lovely to us from the moment we walked in. Nothing was every too much trouble. One night I passed reception and gave me chocolate bars for my kids which I thought was so kind. Adam served us both nights in the restaurant and was a pleasure to deal with both nights, my kids loved him too and he was very good with them.

Overall I’m looking forward to returning next year for another few days. If you’re looking a family friendly hotel in the heart of Dublin then this is your hotel.

Thank you again to all the staff who made our stay so memorable

We just left and are heading back home from a night stay with jury's Inn @ Christchurch.
Here's how our evening went yesterday (8/8/22) after check-in.

Just after 6pm I mentioned to the lady (Zulay) on the desk that there was no cot in the room and showed her our booking reference with a cot as a special request of which was approved for our 2 year old son! She said she would phone an employee to see if they can get one put in the room for 9pm, of which I said was too late but she said she'd see what she can do, so here's hoping.

Ten to eight i went back up to reception and asked if they had any word from the employee that was to check for a cot and they, both the employee and manager Corena (who arrived on the scene) said there was none available at the hotel and that they don't understand why the request wasn't on their computer, being annoyed I said my partner will talk to them and I walked away.

Five past eight my partner went up to reception to see what the current situation was and she was told there was no cots available.  Another employee, a cleaner (we're presuming),  credit where credit is due recommended that they see can they request one from durys Inn in Parnell Street, his proactive thinking will earn him a promotion in the future! My partner asked if they could let us know as soon as possible as it was getting late.
It's currently 9pm and the current manager on duty walked past us on a number of occasions in the bar seating area ignoring the fact that we were even there, very unprofessional.. it is now 21:25, we left the bar area as it was getting very late and sick of being ignored and by this time our child was getting very tired, I made my way to reception again to speak to the manager again to see if they managed to get a cot, Zulay (the employee) told me that she was upstairs fixing a TV, make of that what you will!!
I told her of my unpleasant experience and to expect an honest review online also. We now have no other choice but to make bedding secure enough for our 2 year old with special needs. Will definitely not recommend nor be staying here again and doesn't paint a good picture for any of the associated hotels,.
The bar staff who I can't compliment enough we're let down yesterday by what's meant to be the heart of a hotel (the reception).
Shouldn't advertise online 'cots available at this hotel' tricking people seeking a night away who could, like me, be left without one for our boy.

Off home now for a sleep, thanks for reading and I hope this helps!
Regards,
Daniel

We’ve just spent 3 nights at The Jury’s hotel Christchurch - our first time staying with the Jury’s brand and it was fantastic! We stayed in a family room with our two children, we are touring Ireland on staycations and wanted to show the children the sights of Dublin. This hotel is located perfectly to see all of Dublin. It was very reasonable priced, if anything, a bit too cheap for the service received as it was 5* service, but for families on a budget, this is the place to stay. My partner and I stay in hotels around Ireland often with work and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Their Covid-19 practices and safety procedures were excellent. We were greeted by door staff on arrival and this reassured us. Dennis manned the door and was very welcoming and such a nice guy! He represented the front of house well, always greeting us with a smile. Great service seems to be this hotels trait, Andrea who worked in the bar was fantastic, her service was A1, good presentation with food and very attentive to our children. We tend to notice good service as we both work in brand consistency and it leaves an impression on is. Top hotel, top staff, clean rooms, relaxed ambiance and above other hotels in Dublin in the current climate. This hotel is a 10 minute walk from temple bar, 15 minutes from the Guinness factory which is a must do. Well done all, well trained staff - it’s important and great service always overrides any small imperfections. We’ll be back. Tara and Co.
