My friend and I stayed here on St. Patrick's Day, 2010. It was a crazy and crowded couple of days, and the hostel staff handled it with ease. We stayed in The Townhouse, which was more like a B&B than a hostel. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower, contrary to other reviews I've...

I stayed here for St. Patrick's day and had a very nice time. The people that run this place are professionals and keep the place safe and clean. The breakfast is the best free meal I ever got at a hostel. I was walking distance to everything in the city.

I stayed in 3 different hostels in Dublin and I would say that if I were to go back to Dublin, Globetrotters would be my first choice. They have a full Irish breakfast, internet is free and a decent room to stay in.

I travelled to Dublin with friends in December. My friend and I shared a twin room with an ensuite. The room was much more like a hotel than hostel. Given how expensive accomodation is in Dublin this is great value for money. Another friend stayed in a dorm room and said it was one of the nicest dorms she had...

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning. The night desk clerk, Dave, I think, gave the best service I've seen in a long time! It was super late, but he was very friendly in checking us in. We had to catch the 1st bus in the morning to make it to the airport and he gave...

We stayed in the hotel rooms which were small but quaint. The history of the hotel was interesting. The shared bathrooms were clean. The best part of the hotel was the breakfast and the location. The breakfast was amazing especially after some of the poor excuses we'd seen in italian hotels. The location was great, right near the main street...

I stayed in the Townhouse side of the Globetrotters hostel. Upon arriving, my brothers and I were treated with great hospitality, and quickly settled into our rooms. This hostel has a lift, so it's easy getting luggage moved around. The room was spacious enough, but had some trouble getting the heater to work very well. The blow dryer didn't work,...

Stayed 7 nights in the non-hostel part of this establishment, in a single ensuite called "Captain Swift." The room was clean, there was sunlight from a narrow but tall window, and the room as well as the bathroom were decorated with character and charm. Breakfast was wonderful and among my favorites in my year of traveling. If you go on...

“I had no idea what to choose, and it was random that I be upstairs. However, I did request an all girls room, and there were, I think, 8 beds in total. With earplugs, and something to cover my eyes, it was quite nice! :) Enjoy!!”
