Manager was lovely and the receptionist too, the night porter (male) was rude and unhelpful, heating in our room wouldn't go on and continuously asked if we had messed about with radiator knobs... Ehm no we didn't but your staff did and we had no heating for 3 days, no discount offered and by time we were offered another room...

Just came back, after stayed for 4 nights at The Riverhouse hotel in Dublin. This Little 2 star hotel has a great location if youre Going to discover the Temple bar area, and also close to Grafton street and City centre. Bus 747 from the airport stops near the hotel. The Hotel was old-fashioned, but clean all over, the staff...

As Dublin has the Oldest Pub the smallest Pub THIS hotel certainly classifies as the WORST Hotel in Dublin.Everything from TV remote to intercom to the flush of the Toilet was broken.Noise rooms drunk and loud people in the hallway. Something the hotel does not mention. Dirty as hell. I would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

Despite poor reviews,we chose this on the basis of location (for partying in Dublin), and price (cheap). It doesn't turn out to be good value when the hotel tries to charge you DOUBLE when checking out!!! This, in my opinion, was the hotel trying to chance their arm as there was a change to the original booking with a night...

Absolutely disgusting, the first room we were shown to was on the top floor, 4 flights of stairs with no lift and no offer of help with luggage. It was filthy, rotten windows, broken furniture, scabby wall with a poor paint job, and poor fixtures. We immediately went to reception and demanded a different room, this was also totally unacceptable...

We stayed for two nights. The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. Both the room and the bathroom should be renevated a bit. If you expect everything to be neat and floor tiles to be in their places then maybe this isn't hotel for you. But if you like hotel in the heart of Temple Bar then...

Let me start by saying the staff was wonderful nicest people ever. However the conditions of the hotel were horrific. It was dirty, tiles were coming up in the bathroom, carpets were stained, no door on shower where there was supposed to be one, handles on doors with little door knobs, mildew all around bathroom, found a pair of dirty...

During our holiday we stayed at River House Hotel for 4 nights and here is the story to keep others to get in the same situation as we did. At our fourth and last day of our holiday it was raining through the roof and some of our items were destroyed and it was bothering us to change room. We...

I booked a room in this hotel weeks before my stay and when I got there they said they had cancelled my booking! The woman at reception said they had tried to contact me which they had not. The woman was ridiculously rude and did not apologise once, she just kept insisting that it was my own fault, she offered...

Incredibly bad. No words to describe how bad my experience was. The only room they had in that period was on the first floor. Under the first floor there's a pub with live music. Music that plays well after 2AM. You cannot sleep, the whole room is shaking from the noise. You can feel the sound even if use earbuds....
