The Ladies in the Bar are fantastic and the Scampi is not be missed. Friendly staff and excellent location. Plenty of parking, homely and great atmosphere through out the hotel from the welcoming reception staff where nothing is a problem.

Dear Mike M We really appreciate your 5 star review - you are most kind. The Scampi comes in fresh every day and the quality is just exceptional at this time of year. But ultimately I am blessed with great staff. Today our Porter Paul Birkett is celebrating 38 years of service at the Skylon. When you have people like...

Stayed for country to country gigs over the weekend! Hotel is lovely and staff are friendly! Rooms are clean and tidy, iron, hairdryer and towels provided. Only 10-15 mins from city centre very close to Croke park! Use MyTaxi app (Hailo) for taxis they arrive in minutes and most the drivers will have the craic! Its about €15 to 3arena...

We just celebrated our daughter's Christening in the Skylon. Unfair to mention any names as every member of the team, from management and staff ensured we had the best experience in the ever changing hospitality industry. We as a family have to credit the meal as all of our guests had great feedback and empty plates to follow. Atmosphere, bar and...

The bathroom could do with an update but again still very clean. We was left bottles of water and crisps on our arrival and also a coffee machine and also...

Stayed here for 2 nights in March 2017 whilst visiting Dublin and Ireland with our daughter. The Skylon hotel was great value for money as the rooms were great, the hotel facilities were good and the food/drink were good value within what can be an expensive country at times. Staff were helpful and attentive and we'd recommend staying here if...

Loved this hotel, it is a fifteen minute drive from Dublin Airport and about twenty minutes from Dublin City Centre. If you are travelling from the airport a taxi to the Skylon costs twenty euro but the number sixteen bus takes you directly opposite the hotel if you are on a budget. The hotel is bright and modern and immaculately...

Arriving at this hotel it looks clean and uninspiring.. upon entering the lobby you are transferred back to a bygone era, imagine ladies partaking of afternoon tea, lovely comfy sofas, a porter serving afternoon tea/snacks.. Most reception staff with the exception of ONE were incredibly helpful/friendly... to the other 1 we were given the impression we were a nuisance... The...

Skylon Hotel is a little diamond hotel, just 20' from the very centre of Dublin. VERY clean, with a very friendly & helpful staff, made my first visit in Dublin a wonderful experience. The double room includes all the facilities: hairdryer, iron, coffee & tea, tv, alarm & toiletries. Very warm throughout day & night! Very busy lobby & bar/restaurant....

Dear PowerofGrey We do like being your 'little diamond hotel.' Many thanks for your kind comments - they have really made our day. On your next return the team will organise Afternoon Tea with our compliments so you can relax in the lobby. Might even add some Prosecco to that! Kind regards Shane GM
