Travelled with children. Selected this hostel as it had 4 single beds in a private room with bathroom. These are obviously two bunkbeds. The price was also good, but I was mainly attracted to the fact that it was a traditional place, or so I...More
Great hostel in Temple Bar above a cracking Pub where traditional music is played. It is a easy to get to place from the airport. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean. Highly recommend anyone who needs a good base to stop here.
Location is definitely one of my favourites. I always like to stay right in temple bar when I go to Dublin. The staff was friendly everyday , the bar was full every night. We stayed in the apartments on the roof. They were ok ,...More
I booked a bed at this hostel. I was detained at Dublin immigration and not allowed to enter the country, and was not allowed to contact the hostel until AFTER my first scheduled date there. I contacted them the day after I was supposed to...More

I think it is about 40 minutes walk from the hostel to the arena. You can take a cab or walk. I dont know about the bus lines but the staff at the hostel was very friendly so ask them, they'll help you
I was only in the one 10 bed room and each set of bunk beds had 2 wire cage drawers under it. You are able to put a small padlock on these for extra security. I did not see lockers any other place in the facility.

"With it being in the centre of Dublin's Temple Bar area, I'd imagine the rooms higher up are quieter."
