It's a converted house, cleverly and recently made into 6(?) bedrooms. All fittings new and functioning. Good pressure and temperature in shower (on top floor, in single room). Lots of power points. Free wifi. Very creaky floorboards though. I felt sorry for those beneath me. Boiler in the eaves could be heard but didn't stop me sleeping. Reasonable for my... More

Having paid 170 euros for two nights, I was not expecting the Hilton - but I certainly expected more from Abbington House. The room we stayed in was small (it had a bed, small chest of drawers and a wardrobe. There was no space for anything else, like a chair). The bathroom was tiny. Our room featured an immersion boiler... More

Completely bizarre. Before even staying I called and emailed several times with no way of reaching the owner. Upon arrival, there was another guest waiting outside the B&B waiting for the owner for half an hour (rang doorbells and no answer). There was a number on the door so I called it and someone with very little english answered saying... More

Had business to attend in the Quays area and this lovely B&B provided excellent value accommodation and FREE Parking (A bonus) The owner was particularly helpful and he actually cooked my Breakfast the next morning and it was super and I would recommend to anyone - Clean and well equipped in a quiet residential area.

Nice room, just what we needed as it was just me and a friend. You can get the bus from the end of the road straight into the city centre, 10 minutes 2 euros. Was slightly on the noisy as the floor boards above us were very squeaky. Shower was one of the best showers I've ever been in.

We've stayed here for 2 nights during a 3 day city trip to Dublin. We had the room on the ground floor which is surely the worst room that you can get. However the room + bathroom was very clean, the bed was nice and comfy and there were coffee and tea making facilities. As this was a city trip... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this B and B for a concert so the price was very high for one night (240€). It said on the site that we had to email or ring to reserve a parking space, we emailed 3 times and rang over 10 times and each time it said the mailbox was full and couldn't... More

My Partner and I found this B&B very easily from the airport after getting the 41 bus (Zone 13) it was around a 1-2 minute walk from the bus stop to the B&B which was perfect, however when you get off the bus you will find yourself in an area with shops, pubs and houses. Don't be fooled by the... More

Suman, the lovely polite manager of this small but exceptionally clean B&B, was very helpful and attentative during the two nights my friend and I stayed in Dublin . Along with the traditional Irish breakfast we were provided with fruit, yogurt, cereal, orange juice and toast. He also provided a parking permit free of charge for the parking outside the... More
