I stayed at the Times hostel for 3 nights. After the first night, sleeping in the awful bunk beds where I could feel every spring in the mattress, my back was ruined. I already have an illness that causes chronic pain so the bed caused me even more pain. I had to triple my dosage of pain killers to bear...

What's good, situation, right in the middle of the city,on the bus route from the airport,5 min walk to bars and food outlets of Temple Bar.Good pub next door.Excellent staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms clean, nice communal area, breakfast adequate, good showers( no towels). What's bad,the beds, why does anyone buy such poor mattresses to put in an establishment meant to provide somewhere to sleep?Such a shame...

I stayed at the Times Hostel for three nights in a 8 beds mixed dorm. The dorm has two private bathrooms and places to keep our luggage (but you have to bring your own locker). This was the sixth time that I've stayed in a Hostel and I can assure you that it was the best experience that I've had...

The staff were very kind from the second I walked in in the morning to store my bags, even let me go up to the kitchen to get some coffee before I'd checked in. From there, the room was clean and not over cluttered, breakfast was okay, the daily events in the kitchen were fun. I can't think of any...

The location of this hostel is great. Walking distance to most things in Dublin. The Hostel is average. We had a private 4 bed room. The room was very cold and not very clean. There was years worth of dust under the bed. The facilities were OK and the common area was a nice place to meet other travellers

The Times Hostel couldn't be better located. It's right in the center of downtown, within walking distance of shopping, sights, Temple Bar, restaurants, you name it. You can even walk to Guinness in roughly 15 minutes. It's definitely not "fancy" and the breakfast could really use some improvement (they only had instant coffee, no eggs, etc.) BUT nonetheless it's a...

We stayed here 1 night - 15 Feb 2017 - 3 of us, 3 generations - Accommodation basic but clean - best part? Communal kitchen, extremely well equipped, where you can prepare food/hot drinks and also socialise - most evenings free attraction in the kitchen - Tuesday was wine and cheese (Wednesday was to be free dinner!) people of all...

The staff were friendly and welcoming. However the rooms are up lots of stairs which was not advertised and the room was absolutely freezing. A real shame because the location was really handy, close to both temple bar and o Connell street

Perfect location at budget price! Rooms are basic but clean and spacious and you shouldn't care about the room anyway when in Dublin as you shouldn't be in it for long! Staff really welcoming and happy to help. Will go back.

The staff at this hostel are so helpful and accommodating. For anyone who has stayed at a hostel or hotel with miserable staff members, you will know this can make or break your trip. The staff at Times College Street could not have been more helpful throughout my trip. Location is great - rooms are comfortable and the beds are...
