My mom was visiting me in Cork over Easter break, so I went to the Lissadell to prebook her trip months in advance. We had chosen to book the Lissadell, as it is the closest B&B to where I am currently living in Cork. The week before, I went in to confirm her week long stay. When she finally arrived...

I go to Cork every year for a singing weekend and have done so for the last six years, at the same time of the year, i.e. beginning of March. I’ve now stayed at a number of B & Bs on the Western Road, which is convenient for the city centre and the various venues I need to be at...

Stayed with friends over the weekend. Rooms & facilities are a little dated but in terms of value for money very good and clean. If you want a hotel room with everything perfect then head up the road and pay 3x the price. Mr & Mrs Foley were welcoming and looked after us very well. Location is good for the...

My wife and I stayed here in May 2016 for one night. It is conveniently situated for the city and especially for the University. It seemed to be stuck in a time-warp centered upon the mid 1970's. Functional, but in need of a thorough refurbishment.

Safe to say this B&B is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I over the course of the year had to visit Cork once a month on business when I originally booked I requested that the room have a toilet. On the first visit this request was meet. I then pre booked the rest of my stays...

Tripadvisor is usually the first source I go to when booking ANYTHING. This time I didn't and will forever regret this. Lissadell was the worst B&B experience in Ireland. I had the single room, perhaps other rooms are better. Bedsheets were dirty, night table lamp wasn't working properly (there were some dodgy looking cables sticking out from the lamp). The...

It is obvious Matt does not like spending money here, the most basic of items are old and not functioning as they should.in my room 3 the electric jug leaked and had to be placed on floor as the cable was very short and could not be connected. The radiator did not work. There were no biscuits or milk placed in...

We are three girls from Germany who stayed in Lisadell house in Cork for one night this February. The owner welcomed us warmly and was as kind as possible, providing us with useful advices for the evening in Cork. We stayed in a three-bed room which was very clean and cosy, as well was the bathroom ensuite with shower included....
