Attended conference in another hotel and was delighted to return to Montenotte each evening recently. Friendly welcoming staff, who knew what they were about, food on time, very clean rooms, great shower. Really superb breakfast selection as I don't eat a hot breakfast, delicious freshly home cooked brown bread and scones. Staff remembered drinks ordered. Narrow road in places to...

I stayed in this hotel for two nights with my boyfriend. Upon arrival we received a free upgrade. Our room was very spacious with a huge bed. Our room also included an espresso machine. We received a box of chocolates in our room also. The restaurant is fab and has a view of Cork City. There is also an outdoor...

To begin with Customer Service in hotel reception was 110% if there was such. Made feel so welcome by the front office staff. Offered bottle water and newspaper. Rooms very well decorated and a lovely homely feel about them. Beds so comfortable. Had dinner in the bar in which consisted of fish and chips. Which was lovely. Was welcomed by...

We stayed at the Montenotte over the weekend with our 4 year old daughter. They have put an awful lot of money into the finishes and this is what made it so special. The view over Cork city from the restaurant is fabulous. The décor is modern and tastefully done. I love the colour scheme throughout the hotel. All staff...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my friend. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. The room was clean and we had two large double beds each. We decided to have tea/coffee on the terrace, this was a delight as there were heaters above us and blankets on the sofas. There was...

Sunday lunch is always a good test of a hotel kitchen and our lunch today at The Montenotte Hotel gets the full ten points! From the minute we entered the car park of the newly refurbished Hotel (although refurbished is an understatement, this is like a whole new hotel) and saw the chandeliers hanging from the outdoor trees we knew...

This hotel is a hidden gem. The best Customer Service I have ever experienced! The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff were amazing, nothing was a problem to them and we had a fussy 5 year old with us.

We stayed here for a night over the Easter break....it was the most relaxed, friendliest place we have stayed in, in a long time. From start to finish, food, service, accommodation and facilities were top class. Looking forward to going back! The restaurant staff couldn't have been more helpful and are a credit to the hotel.

We stayed in a family room which was small but perfectly formed. The hotel has been extensively modernised and is fabulously funky with quirky decor and beautifully finished. There is a fantastic balcony area overlooking the city which is fabulous with cosy seating and throws. They are in the process of landscaping the gardens which will be amazing when finished....
