This is my second stay and second review on this b and b. My last experience was alright and I was staying in single room so I was ok with small room etc. This visit as a couple my partner did the booking and had said he would be late arriving due to long drive after work. The girl at...

We were traveling in Ireland and booked the Achill House B & B. Not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. The owner and staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the two nights we stayed there. There are no lifts, so if you have trouble with stairs let them know and they will assist you with your luggage. I...

We stayed one night on our way from Dublin to Kilkenny and found the B&B comfortable and clean. The breakfast is unspectacular - packets of pre-packed cereals, toast, fresh fruit and one could have a cooked breakfast, which we did not take. We were welcomed and given good advice as to what to do and where to go for an...

This was the most over rated over charged place we had the misfortune to stay in all of Ireland or anywhere else. The parking is was very difficult to say the least and necessitated us parking in another property. The breakfast was ordinary and the place generally looked as if it needed a good clean.

I recently stayed at Achill House for 4 nights while attending a conference at UCC. It was a 5 minute walk across to the campus and an easy walk into the centre of the city. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I appreciated the free Wi Fi having come from a major hotel chain which had charged daily rates for...

I recently stayed for one night B&B in Achill House as I was attending a course in UCC. I was made to feel so welcome that it was like a home from home. The service was fantastic. The 2 ladies were so friendly and helpful. They stored my luggage for the day of my course, gave me tea and toast...

It was a nice place, but hard to get to. The wifi worked perfectly, and our room had a beautiful big bathroom. Very clean and friendly people. However we had rented a car and had to park across the street, not many restaurants around and the beds were old. That may just be a personal complaint as I found them...

Stayed here for 1 night when my mum was in the Bons hospital. It was a nice stay. Both the owner and girl working there were very welcoming. I had a single room which had a wall view and was very tight as there was a double bed however it was cosy and comfortable. The toilet had toiletries left and...

I stayed in Achill House on a short trip to Cork and found it absolutely delightful. I had a bright room with a very comfortable bed. The location of the B&B is perfect. An easy 10 minute walk to the city centre & lots of nice restaurants. The nicest thing about my stay was the warmest & friendliest of welcomes...

Achill House is a delightful accommodation that is most conveniently located--within walking distance of just about any part of central Cork, and only about 100 yards from the entrance to University College Cork. The room we had was by no means luxurious, but it was entirely adequate and comfortable, and the bathroom, though small, was well equipped and had a...
