Stayed here for 4 nights, and thought it was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was good and well presented. Parking on site and easy walking distance into the city centre.

I stayed in this BnB for one night earlier this month (July 2015). The room I was given was the smallest room I have ever seen in any hotel / guest house anywhere in the world. It was dank and had a musty, old sort of smell. The pillows were hard and flat. The worst part about this BnB was... More

I have never in my life had a worse accommodation experience than in this B&B, to such an extent that I set up this account purely to let people know. After being charged €65 for a night (and then told the next morning that breakfast is a further €7 of a charge). I was awoken from my sleep at 9.00... More

I would like you to remove this review from my profile. The young man never mentioned that he had no means to pay for his accommodation when he checked in and I was kind enough to arrange accommodation for him on the understanding that he would pay the following morning. On the following morning i had to wake the man... More

My husband, adult daughter and I recently spent two nights at this B&B as part of our first visit to Ireland. Our room had a double and a single bed and was larger than I expected (I've stayed in a number of B&B's and they are typically small). The shower was also a comfortable size and shampoo and soap was... More

We arrived in Cork too late to really select a good B&B, so we ended up here. Our room, unfortunately, was on the street side. No, we didn't get a good night's sleep, which we sorely needed. Breakfast was ho-hum. Nothing special here.

Very good place and staff are welcoming. The house are located not far from the town center and just walk five minues and you are in the center. The breakfast is very delicious and you can take it until 9:30. I recommend.

Achill house is a nice and cosy B&B. The owner is extremely friendly. They serve a continental breakfast, not a traditional irish, but very well garnished. The room was small, but nice, with hairdryer.

Me and my wife booked one double room for one night to visit the city. I was unhappy with the place for the parking policy that they have. The place has only 4 parking spaces available! If you want to have one of them you have to mention it when you make your booking. Be aware that if you use... More
