Excellent B&B. The hosts always make an extra effort to accommodate you. Extra duvet - no problem. A map of Cork - here you go. Would you like more scones? Rooms have a kettle and even a mini fridge. Free WiFi. All what we needed. Rooms are clean, nice and comfortable. The location is very good. Most B&Bs in this...

My parents & I stayed at Fernroyd house for 9 nights in September, exploring Cork & taking day trips to see the surrounding area (Blarney, Cobh, Midleton, Kilkenny & Ring of Kerry). We stayed in the "family" room in the Annex. The room was huge--perfect for 3 adults! We also really appreciated the "day room" (kitchen/dining/living room) and used it...

Where to start? this B&B is in a brilliant location when staying in Cork. It's very quiet. The rooms are very nicely decorated and spotless. The bed was very comfortable, which is always important when sleeping away from your own bed! The hosts are ever so friendly and helpful and they prepare an amazing breakfast every morning. The homemade scones...

My husband and I stayed with Avril and Tony at Fernroyd House for 5 nights while we were visiting our daughter who is at University College Cork, doing a semester abroad. The B & B was literally steps from the gate of the University, in a quiet cul de sac. Avril and Tony could not have been more helpful. Tony...

Avril and Tony are fabulous hosts! The room was large and comfortable. Avril's scones have been the best we have had so far. They gave great recommendations for sights to see and a place to eat. Felt like we were family. Definitely will come back to stay when in Cork again!

We stayed two nights and very much enjoyed the Fernroyd House. The location is quiet and Tony & Avril are exceptional hosts, always trying to accomodate your needs. Breakfast were very enjoyable and the on street parking was quite good. Fernroyd is within walking distance of a few restaurants; we ate at Liberty Grill which was excellent and, judging from...
