Garnish is only minutes from city centre. Car parking available. Although bedrooms are very small they are comfortable, clean and great value. Breakfast is amazing - more choices than at most 4 or 5 star hotels.

The warm welcome and the choice of breakfast menu are the main attractions here. You would be hard pressed to find a better breakfast selection. The room itself was basic, and could do with a bit of TLC. For example, a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss and the shower tray filled up with water. Overall, as good as the... More

I have stayed at Garnish House a couple of times before and on this visit the owner recognised me and was very friendly and pleasant. On my first visit I was offered maps and information about the city which, although wasn't necessary for me, would be extremely helpful to those not familiar with the area. On arrival (6.30pm) I was... More

Our stay at Garnish House was perfect from the moment we entered the front door. We immediately received a warm greeting from our lovely host, and got served delicious scones, tea and coffee. So appreciated after our long drive that day! Anything we needed - restaurant advice, wine glasses - was just a ring of the bell in the entry... More

My husband had heart surgery in Cork University Hospital and we were required to stay for 2 weeks until he could safely fly home. It is hard to find a place for a short rental but I found one with Garnish house. It was just right for us, we could do our own cooking and it was quiet, near the... More

My friends and I from grad school stay at Garnish House for one night. We rented 2 double rooms and one triple room. The rooms were modestly decorated but very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent, as the city centre is about 10-15 minute walk and you are across the street from the university. The B&B is easy to... More

While we found the bathroom minuscule, the breakfast was anything but. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was cooked to order. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which was the best I have ever had!! My brother had the ham omelette which also had peppers and mushrooms and was delicious and large. They also had... More

Comfortable room, great breakfast, and excellent customer service. Marcel was most helpful with directions and his customer attention was the best! Walking distance to town (15-20 minutes). Parking in front of the facility was very convenient.
