The location is excellent (less than 5min walk from the bus station and main streets). I stayed in a 6bed room on the last floor (no lift!). It was clean and bed was quite comfy. 2 bathrooms were shared with another 6 bed room but it was not an issue. Maybe a few more plugs in the room would have...

The hostel was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was attached to the room. The bar downstairs was fun and inviting and stayed open late with live music every night, which made it loud for those who might want to go to sleep early, which we did not. The wifi worked well throughout the bar and room. Got...

Family of 4 stayed one night - great location for exploring Cork. Good price for the area. We had a room with 4 beds (2 bunks) and a private bathroom, which worked well for us. Place is well managed and the staff is friendly. There is a windowless breakfast area with cereal and bread available. Upper rooms are probably quieter...

Went over to cork for a long weekend for a friends birthday. Group of lads just wanting a place to get showered and somewhere for a few hours sleep. Wasn't expecting anything special. On arrival we was checked in no problem. Staff were a cracking a laugh and clearly liked to party. Rooms was average bunk bed style dorms. The...

We had a private bunk bed room with attached shower and toilet. Our room faced the main street which, along with the bar music downstairs, made for a loud night. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Kitchen was accessible and rather large that allowed for multiple people to cook meals all at once. Wifi did not work in the...

Stayed for one night however unfortunately if you are on the 2nd level of higher there is no wifi connection which kinda ruins that "I just wanna sit in my bed and listen to music" vibe for those who use the internet for music or youtube etc Apart from that its a cool place with a bar straight downstairs. Id...

You have to go through a bar to get to the reception area of the hostel and to get to the stairs to the rooms (no elevator) because something's up with the outside door that lets you into the outside entrance of just the hostel. Not bad if you're coming in before the bar gets busy, but that would have...

PROS: - Located very close to the city centre, it has all the facilities nearby. - Overall clean, even the bar's toilet which is open to the public. - The bed I slept in was sufficiently comfortable. - Live music every night at the bar (you get 10% off at the bar if you show your room key). - Free...

Rooms quite small but friendly staff, really close to city centre and breakfast included! Using your room key card you can get discount on bars and food places near by which makes the holiday that bit cheaper. Would recommend for a weekend/3-4 days stay

The Bru bar and hostel was not as good as other hostels I've stayed at. The staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was not very welcoming. You'd think the bar would make the atmosphere inviting, but was actually harder to meet people. Facility was clean, but not roomy. Good for one night
