Tom Looney's Pond House is the best! It's centrally located by all amenities ( including Blarney castle and the woolen mills shop), has comfy, large rooms and downstairs is the best B &B host in Ireland. Tom knows local sights, gives easy to follow directions, and will make you the best Irish breakfast you'll have. He's a friendly, witty, knowledgeable...

We were lucky enough to stay for two days at the B&B located in Blarney. It's location is very close to the Blarney Castle among other cultural sites. However, Thomas and the Pond House are really a destination worth a visit. I will admit, I pulled into the parking lot (car park) and immediately had second thoughts. Then we met...

The breakfast was the freshest, and best tasting I had during my trip, and Tom, the owner really makes one feel comfortable. This was the first B&B we stayed in during a week stay in Ireland, and by far the one I felt most comfortable in. The other's I stayed at may had been a tad more tidy, but if...

Tom is a fantastic host! Welcoming and warm with wonderful stories and advice on where to go. Wonderful house in a beautiful setting. Walks along the river near by and very close to Blarney Castle. Rooms were a great size and breakfast was delicious!

Tommy immediately made us feel at home. Excellent time and most enjoyable host! The town of Blarney was interesting and intimate. Accommodations were roomy and clean, with nice shared lounge area and the breakfast was excellent! We had no issue with hot water despite being warned by the host. Of all the places we stayed (7 B&Bs), this was the...

The owner Tom is a great guy. He is interesting and has all kinds of stories. He provided a pleasant stay. The house has several rooms and can accommodate a large party. We stayed in the larger room with 2 adults and 3 kids, worked out well. There were grapes growing in the back of of the house up to...

Our room was average, the bed was uncomfortable and the "ensuite" was incredibly small and we had no hot water. We booked in for 2 nights but left after one! The Wi-Fi was no good, dropped in and out. Best feature was the breakfast. Not cheap either, it was 65 euros, CASH only.

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay at Pond House. We have never had compaints about the size of the ensuite, the beds, or not hot water. Pity you didn't mention to us about the Wi-Fi, certain parts of the house pick it up better and the hot water which we would have rectified immediately.

We are a family of four and really enjoyed our time at Pond House. We had a warm welcome from Tom and loved listening to his stories, some of them even in German. Your German is excellent, Tom! The family room was spacious and clean, the bathroom not too big but excellent. Breakfast was delicious. We felt like being part...

I had a lovely one night stay at Pond house. The reason I would highly recommend it , number one, really close to Blarney, a great breakfast, and most of all , the owner Tom is a true character. What a lovely person.

Our stay at Pond House B&B and the hospitality of Tom Looney was absolutely fabulous! He set us off to a wonderful local pub for the best fish & chips we enjoyed during our 14 day visit to Ireland, and the best coffee and full Irish breakfast to start our journey to Dublin. Thanks again to our new found friend,...
