Could do with brightening up! Adequate if you only want a bed to the night. Couldn't fault the bed, it was comfortable. Don't bother with breakfast, just some cereal and tea/coffee, toast, croissants. Go for breakfast to Cairde, it's very good! I

Stayed in The Banner Lodge for 2 nights. Room had 2 double beds, even though it was only my husband & myself.Comfortable beds, spotless bathroom. Bed was made up after only staying for the 1st night. Central to everything, quiet location. Highly recommend.

We made a reservation here because of its central location. Everything in Ennis is within walking distance. The owner is very helpful. In the old Irish tradition, he has the gift of gab. He had very thoughtful comments about Britain's Brexit vote held during our stay. The hotel itself is old and worn, but that is much of its charm....

Affordable and fair price, you get what you pay for. They have nice cozy rooms, the beds and bathrooms were clean. I was a little bit disappointed with breakfast, but that's just a detail ;) The owner is a friendly guy, there wasn't any problem. Btw you can borrow hairdryer from him, just mentioning because someone was complaining here about...

We were steered to this lodge by a bartender at a nearby pub. It is a classic, old lodge right in the heart of Ennis. The rooms are decorated in 50 -70's style but all is fresh and clean, warm and cozy. The bathroom was spotless and the room felt full of old time Irish personality, not renovated into a...

My wife and I were originally booked into a very expensive hotel in Ennis on a Bank Holiday so we thought we were very lucky just to get a room. We were walking around the town and came upon the Banner Lodge. We could not believe the advertised price on their sign in front of the hotel. We thought if...

We were on around trip of the wild Atlantic way and one of our group booked this place as a stopover.Ok the parking is terrible, the rooms were old, the bathrooms were in need of an update. The room was huge for the price.I slept well too.Really you get what you pay for.The owner is a real character.I didn't risk...

It's close to the market area at the town center. Very affordably-priced. Makes a nice-enough breakfast (think "continental" here) for a reasonable extra charge. Lodge has an "old" air to it. The fixtures in the room don't help - the other bed in our room looked much like the back of saddle-worn horse, with a noticeable sag in the middle....

Finally a place that does not exploit single travellers! 20 euros per person for doubles, but only 25 euros for a single occupancy! Think of that! Breakfast costs 5 euros extra. This is a simple place; no frills, but has lots of character in its variety of bedroom furniture. Spotlessly clean. Friendly owner. What more could you ask for? It...
