I stayed here recently as a tour guide. The receptionist - Gertrude - could not have been more helpful or friendly. We were in a rush to Bunratty and check in was super quick. I needed help with print outs and maps and got everything that I needed and all with pleasant efficient courtesy and a welcome smile. The guests...

We booked a two night midweek package deal for 2 adults + 2 kids with breakfast both mornings, and three course meal for adults on one of the nights for €170. We felt this was great value. The reception and restaurant staff were really very friendly. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but could do with a refurb. The...

Beds comfortable. Rooms small and several minor inconveniences like no battery in the safe. Breakfast fine. Premises would benefit from modernisation and redecoration. Plentiful parkway. Convenient gateway to the cliffs of moher and the Burren.

First impression upon arrival - nice looking place, but then at check-in the female receptionist never broke a smile and was just uninterested it seemed. Heading to our room, it's very apparent the place badly needs a refurb. The room confirms that - disgusting tiles in the tired old bathroom, crappy mattresses, antique tv & furniture - just very low...

On the final day of our holiday we over nighted in the Auburn Lodge Hotel and here are some of observations. On arrival we were welcomed by a very efficient and friendly receptionist. We were allocated our room and were amazed to see that there was no elevator. This is not a problem if there is a member of staff...

This place is in need of a serious refurbishment. In our room the bathroom was not clean at all. The television was antique and had very fuzzy screen on every channel. Furniture was badly fitted or broken in the room. We stayed two nights and the room was not serviced (beds not made etc). We ate in the bar the...
