Average hotel. Rooms are in need of updating. Clean and functional but basic and 70's decor. All the staff we met with the exception of the breakfast staff seemed grumpy and unhappy especially in the bar where we just couldnt stick them and went else where!

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend in this hotel. We stayed for his birthday. Our room was lovely, spotless and spacious. The breakfast and evening meal where excellent, plenty to choose from and beautifully presented. The best part was the amazing staff. Bought a voucher from Dine-In Hotels at Over 50s show in RDS. We really enjoyed our stay in Auburn Lodge. The room was a good size, very comfortable and had tea-making facilities. I also used the leisure facilities which were excellent. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful from the moment we approached check-in. The location is very convenient...

Myself and my husband arrived first, after booking a family room.  When we opened the door we just wanted to walk back out, dirty carpet with crisps that where still on carpet from previous occupants, filthy bath/shower and so on. The room was...

Our room at the Auburn Lodge was fine, although the bed wasn't great. The room was a good walk from reception through a maze of corridors and stairs. We wondered if we would find our way back when we left it! We ate at the carvery in the bar and it was fine. However, the breakfast the next morning was...

Stayed here for my birthday weekend and wasn't disappointed. Really nice staff, bar and breakfast was lovely. Yes the hotel needs some updating etc. but for what we wanted it for it served a perfect purpose. Carvery lunch on the Saturday in the bar was lovely. Nice portion size of Lasagna and loads of vegetables! My wife had the beef...
