This place was fantastic, and a wonderful value. The host, Declan, is terrific and had some great conversations with him, in particular about our shared interest in geneology. He is incredibly hospitable and we felt completely taken care of during our stay. House is in...More
I'm going to start off this review stating that this was my children's favorite bed and breakfast of our entire trip. Newpark house really is stunning when you drive up to it. The house is decorated with multigenerational antiques and the owners were very kind....More
We stayed here for a week for a family reunion. The house is full of old furniture & fittings which add to the charm. After an initial problem with our shower, which was quickly rectified by Declan, our stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast was basically...More

It is probably about 1 mile into town center from Newpark House. Several quests have walked to town while we were there. You could call for a taxi. Your best bet is to contact Declan at Newpark House to see if any buses go to the shopping center about 1/4 mile up the road or how much a taxi might cost. The center of town is a lot of walking, but worth the effort to see all it's quaint nook and cranny side streets. We hope you get to enjoy it.
