Declan and Bernie what awesome host! The house and the rooms are amazing! The land that surround the house is just as beautiful. Walking distance to a little strip mall with stores and Restaurants. If i ever go back this will be on my list of places to stay in Ireland

This historic house and its longtime residents welcomes you warmly, with a true desire to please. Declan is a gracious host who gets eggs from his chickens and cooks them perfectly. Although you are within walking distance of a busy road (and a shopping center with a good pub and a grocery), it is peaceful and quiet at the house,...

What a great looking place this is! Our host, Declan, couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. I liked that the bedrooms were so different, gave them such character. They were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfy. But the highlight was the breakfast. Declan will accommodate any taste with a smile and the breakfast room - could have...

We spent 6 nights at Newpark House and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hosts, Declan and Bernie, were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfasts at the big table were delicious and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests - we met some very nice people there. Declan has a large library of genealogical-related books and materials...

This was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Ireland! The friendliness of Bernie and Declan, to the great rooms and roaring fire at night, certainly made this a memory not to be forgotten! The delicious breakfast every morning on fine china and silver cooked by Declan and the organge marmalade handmade by Bernie made sure we had...

This was one of the loveliest, most comfortable places we've ever stayed. The house itself is fascinating and filled with history--and the owners always seem to be happy to share their story. The accommodations were top-notch: We had a charming, comfortable room--with a balcony!--and a clean, modern, private bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, cooked by Declan and served by his friendly...

stayed this summer. Most places charge by the room and not by the number of people in it. Was definitely not worth what we paid. Our mattresses were quite saggy and the smell was quite musty. Our room definitely needed serious updating. I did not see the side of Declan that folks are discussing. his mother was lovely and the...

We stayed at the Newpark House B&B for our first two nights upon arrival in Ireland as we used Ennis for our first base. I had given Declan a heads-up on our arrival time and we were fortunate to have our room ready even though we arrived very early that morning. This was a huge bonus since we were able...

The grounds were lovely. This is a period home and if you like history you will enjoy that. I loved the ivy climbing on the house. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast food was good and I thought the dining room was the prettiest area of the house, with a window that looked out to a nice view. What I missed was...
