Stayed here whilst visiting Ireland for work. Friendly staff at reception, good clean modern room with free wifi and large bathroom. Free wifi in room too. If I had to find a fault the bar/restaurant was far to busy as it is also a public house. There was no room service on offer either to my knowledge. Would recommend it...

We have a talented team of chefs using the very best of local produce in three different outlets in the hotel. I am sorry if it appeared too busy for you to have an opportunity to experience our...

We had our wedding reception in June this yr in the og. The professionalism demonstrated was second to none. Mainly we dealt with Phil in the lead up to the big day. Nothing was too big an ask for her. She was so helpful, pleasant and efficient to deal with. As was john when we dealt with him in the...

Nice hotel. Comfortable room with large sitting area. Wonderful old hotel. Rooms are spacious. With coffee service, 2 TV's, and a large bathroom with shower. Our room was 403. The beds were very comfortable and firm mattress as well as firm pillows. Linens were up scale, and the towels were large and fluffy. We really enjoyed walking the streets early...

I used the hotel for a family event. The venue was clean and welcoming and the staff were excellent both during the booking process and on the day of the event. They were friendly and professional and could not have been more helpful.

My daughter and I stayed here one night. We were greeted by a friendly reception lady who signed us up for a late dinner in the restaurant. We ate lunch in the Poet's Corner when we got there which has the dark wood and cozy nooks throughout. We had a warm Brie with currant jelly sandwich, and it was served...

I must say I wasn't overly impressed with Ennis. Compared to the rest of ireland it's very dirty, litter everywhere and many store fronts are closed. But, we were only here to get our plane in the morning. The hotel room was one of the cleanest and up to date we had in all of ireland this trip. The staff,...

We visited for drinks and the music session. Lovely interior and bars. The music was traditional Irish, Bodrhun, fiddle, guitar and button accordion plus other musicians join in ! Our friends recommend this as the hotel to stay in - its central location gives quick access to other bars with music.

I stayed here last weekend as I was attending a retirement function which I had also helped to organise. From the outset the staff were fabulous to work with. They accommodated us completely with what we wanted and were so professional on the night! The food was absolutely fantastic!!! The icing on the cake was the fabulous room! The following...

The Old Ground is very popular with locals as well as visitors. There is always a great atmosphere in the bar. The food is good and varied. The staff are mainly local, very friendly and great to chat to. Traditional music can be heard many nights. One of the best places in Ennis to savour good Clare hospitality. The only...
