I have stayed for the last two Fridays, room 9 and 8. Both rooms clean and tidy with all the usual requirements, nice big thickwhite towels in both. Room 9 is larger but the en-suite a bit snug, room 8 although smaller has a good layout with full size bathroom. bath with shower over. Staff in the restaurant very friendly...

Apart from the window the bedroom was clean. However, the bathroom left a lot to be desired with the bath side hanging off exposing dirt and grime and the all round grouting to bath, sink and tiling was past its best. The door to the en-suite not only creaked but positively groaned at the slightest touch as did the door...

Had a lovely meal here with my wife and inlaws, service from Ross was very good and he was helpful when asked if a smaller portion of a main course was available for one of us. The quality of the four main dishes was excellent and felt freshly cooked and the restaurant was pleasant and comfortable.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. The staff were excellent, from booking to arrival they couldn't do enough for you. However, I have given this a two star review as it simply doesn't justify £90 a night. The room was what I would expect from a Travelodge that is due for a refit....... Avoid room 6, it...

Very accomodating to our needs and the food was excellent. Very friendly staff. A really nice atmosphere and a nice place where we stopped for lunch. We would definitely go back. We were served by Taylor who was a brilliant waiter.

Will really not be going back for lunch after this week's experience. The mushroom and rosemary soup was worse than something out of a can - tasteless, watery, and the ciabatta served with it was stone cold. Poor service......... had to 'enquire' what had happened to our drinks. No attempt by the waiter to apologise. Will not be going back.
