Had to stay at the Travelodge, Dumbarton recently as I had an appointment at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital early morning. Also had to take my dog. The hotel was about fifteen to twenty minutes from the hospital. On arrival, I had a lovely room, clean and tidy and quite big, loads of room for me, my husband and dog...

you get what you pay for, very nice receptionist very helpful, very clean and friendly hotel. But next to a railway so the building rumbles every so often, The bed is hard as a rock on both stays. Would go back if stuck, but I will be looking for somewhere with a softer bed away from a motorway and a...

One of the cheapest Travelodges in the Glasgow area but great value for money. Friendly helpful staff at check in, room was warm, clean and beds very comfortable. Only negative was on opening the room door on arrival there was an odour, reminded me of wet dog but I think it was possibly a carpet cleaner smell? Opened the window...

Had 4 nights here while we explored the area. Very comfortable and well positioned for many places of interest. Good for a visit to visit Loch Lomond but also a nice walk into Dumbarton too along the cycle path at the back of the hotel.

Immaculately clean room, and very spacious. Very helfpul and friendly staff. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at an hotel - I just went flat out and stayed out. Fast and positive Wi-Fi. Despite being sandwiched between a busy road and a railway track, I found the place very quiet indeed. There's a Starbuck's out the front...

This lodge was chosen by me for its price and proximity to Glasgow by private car. There is an excellent Crown Carvery across the road ( have to cross a dual carriageway on foot - if you need a safer crossing point, then exit the lodge left in the direction of the traffic for about 0.18 mile and use the...

We stayed there after a long drive from Manchester The hotel is tucked away between the railway line and a Starbucks coffee house But inside we received a very warm Scottish welcome which for weary tired visitors was very welcoming. And appreciated by us both. We ate across the main road at a Brewers fare Carvery Which was very reasonable and...

Usual travel lodge clean and friendly staff, right next to Starbucks and an M&S Simply food at the garage across the road. Not really a place to stay long, the trains were a few feet away from the bedroom and kept me awake and woke me up.
