Stayed here for a function. Lunch was a strange chicken curry with fried poppadoms that were too greasy. The dinner at the function was again just ok with the sticky toffee pudding being too dry. The room was in need of a major upgrade and bathroom is a bit tired but staff are friendly and trying to make it a...

Attending a function in the hotel and decided to opt for dinner prior to it. Initially told there was only a set menu in the restaurant but when we said that due to dietary requirements one of us couldn't eat we were ' allowed ' to pick from the full menu - which was readily available in the bar! Starters...

My brother in law and my husband headed to the Dumbuck for drinks whilst I went for a destress sing massage along the road. When we arrived at the Dumbuck we noticed the change of layout and decor. Gone is the boutigue hotel styling and you are now back to a bland hotel. Staff are very friendly but seating is...

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and overall was happy with the hotel. The staff I dealt with at reception, the bar and over breakfast were very pleasant and professionally went about their business. The room I was in was clean albeit it could do with a bit of fresh paint in places. My bed was...

We stayed there for a night last week. Great friendly staff. Large room and massive bathroom. The room was comfortable, quiet and warm. The restaurant was really nice food...and the breakfast was fit for a king! I didn't need lunch after the breakfast. Good value and I have no complaints.

Stayed in this hotel for four nights, 29th December-1st January, as we were attending a friends wedding on New Years Eve here. Check in: Friendly and quick. Rooms: I won't comment too much on the rooms as the hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment. What I can say is that ours was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and...
