This is a pleasant and friendly welcome B&B where we spent 2 nights this summer with our two children. The two rooms are nice and comfortable. Nevertheless, note that the house is along a road and you can be annoyed by the traffic in any of the 2 rooms. Also on the Malling West website, you have a nice picture...

Thank you for taking the time to review Malling West and for your kind comments. However I feel I must address your points which may be misleading to our future guests. Our costs are based on room occupancy on bed and breakfast basis, unless stated otherwise. I have no way of knowing exactly when you stayed with us, and certainly...

We stayed at Malling West at the end of May and had such a great experience. Morag and Phil are great hosts, such lovely people. Morag gave us a tour of the house and Phil guided us around the garden, which is absolutely stunning. It's a lovely place to stay and close to all the places you want to visit...

Whatever your interest in the Trossachs or any area west of Stirling, be sure to consider this lovely, convenient spot. And oh, the breakfasts! Skip the bacon and haggis and go straight for the .smoked salmon. It was the best we found in a month of Scottish B&Bs and restaurants.

We had a fabulous stay at Malling West at the end of May. Despite showing up four hours early Morag made us very welcome and made us feel right at home. Our room was gorgeous and lovely and cool in the hot weather! Breakfast was made to order and delicious. But the best thing about Malling West is definitely Morag...

As we came unprepared Murag gave us some tips what to see in the region. It was wonderful. The room was clean and...

We stayed at Morag and Phil's for three nights, and we had a fantastic time. Weather was typically Scottish, rain and more rain, but that did not stop us from doing Loch Lomond, Whisky tasting and what we had in mind. Malling West is a beautiful house, have great gardens and super-friendly owners. We occupied both rooms, which were in...

We spent two fabulous days at Malling West with Morag and Phil, who did their best to make our stay comfortable. As there are only two guest rooms you will experience a really personal and familiar stay. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom (which actually is a triple room) and it was very nice and cosy. Everything seems to be...

“If you're tall (both of us are about 1.80m) the upstairs shower will challenge your creativity as it has a slanting ceiling. Having said this the upstairs room offers more light and has a beautiful view of the garden. It will remain to be our favourite.”
