Jim's Farm Villas is a luxury boutique hotel, located midway between Kandy and Dambulla, set on a 50 acre organic Coconut and Spice farm and is an ideal base for exploring the whole Cultural Triangle. We have 3 Villas with 14 rooms: all are en-suite, with fans and ac. All our rooms are designed and furnished using the best local woods, local rattan furniture, and Batik from Ena De Silva' Women's Co-operative. Our sheets are luxury Egyptian cotton. We have a very sandy soil-excellent for black pepper- which also means we get very very few mosquitoes. 7 of our rooms are large Doubles: 7 are super large Family rooms, capable of taking parents and 3 children. There is much to do at Jim's: daily farm tours: milking our cows at 4pm: lazing in our Hilltop swimming pool: pool table: Ayurvedic Spa with resident Ayurvedic Doctor: walking our dogs: visiting the 2 local Buddhist Temples for an evening blessing: walk or tuk tuk into Pallepola, our nearby town only 1.5 km from Jim's. Free wifi.

It was our best hotel in Sri Lanka. We stayed 6 nights with children 8, 12 and 16 years old. Covid rules are very effectively implemented, everything runs very smoothly and in a relaxed / flexible manner. The staff strictly follows the sanitary rules and is regularly tested. Everything is very safe, comfortable, friendly and clean. We could do our Covid tests on the farm and had the results within 24 hours. On 4 days we enjoyed trips with the in-house driver to the surrounding UNESCO world heritage sites. The driver was level 1 certified. The rate was very fair, the driver very competent and friendly. The hotel supported us perfectly by organizing the trips according to the Covid rules and managed all the approvals from the tourist board. Tho hotel also organized local guides. The location is very beautiful with a magnificent view to the surrounding mountains. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. We had two huge rooms for our Family. We enjoyed a cooking course, the farm tour explaining all the plants and spices of the farm, the beautiful swimming pool, a bike tour through the farm and ayuverda treatment. The luxury meals are delicious and very romantic. For all these extras (except the car service) no additional fee was charged. This was the only hotel in Sri Lanka where no extra charge appeared at the end of the stay. The management communicates very effectively. We could trust 100%. We will miss the 110 different species of birds singing all the day and the beautiful sunrises / sunsets. we will come back.…

My girlfriend and me had the pleasure to stay for three nights at Jim’s Farm villas and would have loved to stay even longer. It was one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. The staff is so nice and friendly and the nature and villas are breathtaking. There are three villas which are located on hills with unique views and surrounded by palm trees. Nearly all of the food which is served is grown on the own farm and you can find all spices and fruits e.g. cinnamon, cardamon, mango, passion fruit, avocado... growing there. We traveled during COVID-19 and everything (e.g. PCR-Test on arrival) was very well organized by the hotel. The staff was wearing masks the whole time and followed the protocol. During the whole stay we felt very safe and very welcomed the same time. We can highly recommend Jim’s Farm Villas without a doubt and would love to come back soon. We stayed at Jim's Farm Villas for 2 nights during our honeymoon tour of Sri Lanka and wow - this was absolutely a highlight of our trip! Kevin was staying at the time we were there and he gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the farm and local area. The farm tour was great and we spent a day at leisure here, enjoying the pool and the wonderful grounds. We stayed in the villas above the restaurant - the views were absolutely stunning! Not too far from the pool or main reception area but tuktuks available if you didn't fancy the walk! Room was huge, bathroom beautiful, and the view from the shower - best ever! The food was exceptional - 3 courses each evening, no choice or menu to select from (as there were only 4 guests while we were there) but we all loved the food. Breakfast was also great, eggs to your liking, fresh fruit and juice. perfect! Would absolutely recommend this little piece of heaven - whether for exploring the local area (not far from Dambulla) or to unwind for a few days.…

This place is very special and one of the best in the world i think! The concept of farm and hotel is perfect because it works with nature together! We stayed at mango villa! You can expect super friendley and super service ..high quality food...everything you need for a relaxing holiday! If you want to discover the cultural triangel you can do it too with the farm as a peaceful base! Its realy a home far from home! Thanks to all the staff from Jims Farmvillas and to the owner Kevin Abott for the wonderfull time !!!!!!!!
