Lovely location in quiet street. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops and water front.
Owner was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was plentiful and a good start to the day.

We stayed for 1 night, landlady very friendly, the breakfast was great and hit the spot after a night out in town, we had a double room with shower, very comfortable, enjoyed our stay and when we are back in Ayr will stay again.
Nice b&b and friendly host who advised us of a local pub where we could take our dog, which had lovely food. Good breakfast and even catered for me as a vegetarian. Nice location as close to seafront so ideal for walking our dog
Just returned from 2 night stay The Dunn Thing guest house,
Very close to town centre and promenade,good room with decent shower,good breakfast only issue the bed was very hard.
If eating out recommend the Ayr India restaurant (see review)also good coffee shop,with free internet...More
