Attended a wedding here, weather was horrendous but was beautiful setting inside with warm cosy fires, very clean, homely and welcoming would certainly return again. Beautiful venue to hold a wedding, would be amazing on a beautiful day. Meal very nice and would certainly reccomend to others to stay here

We have stayed here on many occasions over the years our last in October. We have never been disappointed with this hotel. This was a late booking, we were visiting family in the area. We had booked a courtyard room but on arrival I requested an upgrade to a room in the main hotel building. We were pleased with the rate received even after the upgrade. The room 115, Newmarket room, was beautifully furnished and very spacious, The bed was very comfortable...

Booked an early meal in the restaurant before going a wedding party as an evening guest. The food was of a very good standard and reasonably priced and the staff very professional. The hotel also seems very nice. The reception rooms lounge very comfortable

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was decent sized with bath/shower. Bed was comfortable and a large mirrored wardrobe was available. 3 chairs were provided in the room along with a flat screen tv. Only minus was the short walk outside to the main hotel building and the 11am checkout (would have been good to have a 12 noon...

We took up the offer of a room plus dinner, bed and breakfast and it was great value. The food in the restaurant was superb and there were no if's and but's on the menu related to the deal. The breakfast was great too. Would stay there again.

This is certainly a good hotel. In many respects, it is a very good hotel. And then, frustratingly, it contrives from time to time to stop short of being excellent. We stayed four nights in what is called a courtyard room. These rooms are actually in two separate flat-like blocks but do not let that put you off since both...
