I booked at short notice, arrived late. Welcome was friendly, Room immaculate, breakfast great. Nothing was too much trouble for Bill, so hospitable. Business trips can be cold and sterile. I could not recommend this B+B more. I have stayed im many this was one of the best.

Just spent a fantastic weekend at this lovely guest house. I was born and raised in Ayr, so I knew the location very well. The location was ideal as less than a 10 minute walk from the railway station and from the town centre. The room was huge and spotless. The ensuite was immaculate and also very spacious. The host...

Stayed here for the Western Meeting at Ayr Racecourse. Could not believe how close to the racecourse we were. What a fabulous place to stay this is too. On arrival we were met by Bill who helped with our bags & cases. Superb breakfasts every morning. Spotlessly clean. Bill is a great host and nothing at all is too much...

Stayed here early June 2016. The accomodation was first class. Location wise it was about a short 10 minute walk to the town centre, over the river Ayr. Easy to get to the the train station and it backs on to the racecourse. The highlight of our stay was the breakfasts. Bill and Carol do a wonderful breakfast. During our...

My girlfriend had an interview at the UWS Ayr Campus early on the Monday morning so decided to stay over. Found this place online and were not disappointed. Bill is a great host, phoned me few days before we travelled down to give directions and check when we would be arriving. You can park on the street outside, or at...

Had a great time, the owner, Bill was very nice and informative of the local area. Advised us of places to visit.. And we listened and visited some lovely sites. Room was overlooking the race course and very quiet. Thanks Bill 😇😇 I would finish there but trip advisor wishes me to add 200 characters....so there you go 200....

Very hospitable Host. Demonstrates various functions such as the door keys, shower etc. Extremely comfortable bed and 'smart' bedlinen. Would have appreciated a chair in the room. The vanity unit doubles up as a workspace but nothing to sit on! Other reviews comment that they enjoyed the 'chat' at Breakfast - in this instance, my colleagues & I would have...

We stayed with Bill for the weekend of my cousins wedding and I have to say that we had a fabulous and very comfortable stay. We had the room overlooking the racecourse and I have to recommend that you try out the power shower. I could have stayed in there for hours but the hubby wouldn't let me. The breakfast...

Thank you Bill for looking after us, whilst we settled our daughter into Ayr Campus of UWS. The bedroom was comfortably, lots of space, clean and all facilities. The bedroom we were allotted had the art deco bathroom directly opposite. Well the shower ! your own little spa, either sprayed from above or from the sides. Enjoyed a good chat...

“My (twin-bedded) room was very hot; once the windows were open there was considerable traffic noise. Houses directly opposite the room window offering little privacy. I'd advise requesting a room to the back which, I understand, look across the garden and Ayr Racecourse. No off-street parking available; cars have to perch half on half off the pavement or be parked in a neighbouring Hotel car park along the road.”

“Our room was at the front and hence on a road that had quite a bit of traffic (windows were open due to hot weather) . A room at the back would have been quieter.”
