Good location less than 5 minute walk from sea. Newly refurbished bedrooms. Excellent lunch and evening meals. Good choice at breakfast with full Scottish breakfast included in room rate. I stayed here on 3 occasions so far this year. Staff are friendly and most have been there for a long time

This family run hotel gives good value. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff helpful, friendly and efficient. A good varied restaurant menu is available both in the restaurant and bar and the early evening prices are very, very reasonable. A friend recommended it to us and we shall be pleased to recommend it to others. Car parking is...

Stayed at the Chestnuts on Saturday night after spending Friday night at the Savoy Park as part of a Wedding Party. The room at the Chestnuts differed from many I have stayed in as the ensuite wasn't just a box, built in to the existing room. We had dinner in the bar and the food was great. The hotel has...

I went with my son for a lunch at the restaurant reading how good the reviews were but was not allowed to enter because my son was wearing football shoes. The lady at front said that her boss apparently does not allow to enter with football shoes. It is the most absurd excuse I have heard. He is only 9...

We visited this venue on our recent trip through the UK and what a wonderful experience. The building itself is a grand period mansion and the interior design and decor enhance the impression of a time of style and luxury. The staff are welcoming and professional while remaining friendly and conversational. They have a fine range of local and international...
