Lunch stop off for a taster of the Ayr Brewing Company ales. There were three available and we tried the Leezielundy pale ale and the Jolly Beggars amber ale both of which were tasty. The food was inexpensive but good quality and all home made. A little gem. Will return.

I would have walked away after a glance into the lounge..but, my friend's husband is into real ales, and this wee brewery gets great write-ups, so we stayed. Contrary to expectations, the dry white and red wine was very nice. They also have a large gin selection. My friend's husband thought the beer was excellent, and bought a bundle to...

Came here yesterday for a swift half of their tasty ale with a couple of friends, they were starving so ordered the burgers pfrom the now larger menu and what a great choice just for the burger itself(plain, beer,or spicy) and then the toppings as well. So when the food arrived they were not disappointed in the least. A brilliant plate...

Excellent home brewed beers here and nice atmosphere in bar. Did not stay or use restaurant so can't comment on them, but bar homely and staff friendly. Ayr brewing company is attached to the hotel, so the beer is definitely fresh!

When we initially drove past a large sign which said 'Ayrshire Brewing Company' we knew we were onto a winner. The Glen Park is attached to the Brewery and offers the local ale on tap and in bottles in the bar area. It is very dog friendly and my fiance and I sat with the company of the locals and...

Good menu, and the attached brewery provides a good range of refreshments. There is a Real Ale (and cider) festival scheduled for early September, and a list of guest beers is displayed in the bar. Well worth a visit, and promises to be busy during the air show.

Old-fashioned pub, very welcoming. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was empty, and it was warm and comfortable. The special the evening we visited (Sunday) was a roast beef dinner, which my wife had, declaring it very good: roast beef (well done, as she likes it, and clearly cooked in a covered roaster), accompanied by roast potatoes, new...

Our search for a great place to drink on holiday ended when we found the Glenpark Hotel. Having called into three other real ale pubs in Ayr which were disappointing to say the least, one of which contained an English hating Scot who made his feelings clear, it was a relief to find this bar. A Mancunian in a previous...
