We stayed in Lewis cottage in July 2021, following a previous stay in Islay apartment in July 2020. Both are equally fantastic places to stay and are very tastefully decorated, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The real highlight for us is the location, being in a quiet area a few miles out of town. The views of the surrounding fields and hills are stunning and we enjoyed many hours sitting in the lovely garden just taking it all in. Mairi was very friendly and helpful and answered any queries we had. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I stayed with my family and our small dog for a week, and we all wished we could have stayed much longer. This is just the sort of property one would love to own oneself as it is so comfortable and its sitting room has lovely views on three sides. There is plenty of parking and a warm welcome awaits the weary traveller. Be warned, locally there is so much to do, you will have to return!

We stayed with Mairi and Bill just overnight but would have loved to have stayed longer. Fantastic doesnt even start to describe our stay. Stunning scenery and an extremely well appointed cottage. Beautifully furnished and very tastefully decorated. Beds very comfortable and absolutely everything we needed and more. Next time we are back in the area we would llve to stay again (we are from Canada)

When we arrived in Pitlochry we were originally hoping to stay in town but arrived during a major event weekend and struggled to find accomodation. The tourist office said there was a vacancy here in a self contained farm cottage and we immediately grabbed it as our choices were limited. We found the farm house up a lovely lane in East Haugh less than 10 minutes from Pitlochry. The cottage was self catering but our hosts had supplied breakfast provisions of milk, cereal, juice, farm fresh eggs, jams, tea and coffee which they were happy to replenish every day. The cottage is 2 story with 2 single beds with bathroom upstairs and down stairs a king room with adjacent full bathroom, kitchen and generous sized lounge room. This was perfect for my Father, Uncle and myself and as we had a car it was no problem to be outside of the town especially with East Haugh House hotel at the bottom of the lane for dinner. We would all highly recommended the cottage and happily stay here again.
