the Atholl Arms Hotel is very conveniently located (next time we will arrive by train) offers very good value for money. But we were delighted by the lovely homely lounge and afternoon tea and a nice room overlooking the war memorial. On a misty autumn afternoon it was great to walk up to Blair Castle opposite the hotel and then... More

Just returned from a five day stay at the Atholl Arms, weather was changeable, but one thing that is constant is the excellent service provided by the staff, year after year they go out of their way to ensure that customers are kept happy, and if there is a problem that cannot be solved immediately, it will not be long... I would have reviewed soon after our September stay but Tripadvisor rations me .... as long as it is only reviews that are rationed and not the stays at the Atholl Arms themselves - I can live with rations of the former but not the latter :-) We love staying at the Atholl Arms, The staff are so friendly and... Took advantage of an Itison Break.. Excellent value for money, went with my friend, at time of booking they only had double rooms left, but decided to take it anyway. Had a minor disagreement whikst booking as the hotel insisted on wanting my credit card details, despite using a prepaid voucher.. I stuck to my guns and refused to give my... More

I cannot say enough about our excellent break away at the Blair Atholl Arms, cosy wee room, excellent breakfast and a meal to die for in the atmospheric baronial hall, the staff couldn't do enough to help and an especially friendly and helpful duty manager. Afternoon tea was a treat served by, again, an extremely welcoming member of staff, perfect... More

The hotel is about a 10minute drive outside the Pitlochry town but we had our car so it was fine. The hotel was nice but could do with am update - the room was a... More

This place is really good. Located in the heart of Blair Atoll, short walk to Blair castle. The building is impressive from the outside and inside is very traditional looking too. The tartan carpet, the furniture... everything is so Scottish!! The lady in reception was very welcoming and explained everything. The room was pretty and had amazing views. There was... More
