This was a last minute reservation and it did the job, food and bed. It could have been so much better. Kerry on reception and Lucia in restaurant where fantastic I must say but other staff poor, either due to a lack of experience, training or motivation. Food served without, seasoning or sauces and staff disappeared without giving a second...

Hi, really sorry to read you were a little disappointed with your recent stay. Food is something we work very hard at to get right and it is rare to be criticised on that aspect of your stay. Hopefully you will give us a second chance to impress you and if so please get in touch directly to organise. Regards...

This lovely Hotel is situated on a hillside but a walk down to the small town brings its own rewards. From quirky coffee shops to Mill stores this town holds many delights for visitors. The river Tummel is close by as well as Loch Faskally, both worth a visit. An inexpensive taxi ride took us back to the Hotel which has a gym, jacuzzi and...

Great location for town maybe not for everyone as a bit of a hill to climb on way back . Meals were good and serving staff very attentive. Made good use of the leisure facilities this time. Had a single room it was the size of a double with single bed in it Windows on two walls so plenty of...

We were satisfied with our room but my wife is awaiting knee surgery and our room was up a flight of stairs and down a long hallway. The hotel has no lift. If you have a handicap then make sure you get a room reserved on the ground floor. The food was good. There is no wifi in the rooms...

Hi, thanks for the post. in the most part it seems things were good but a couple of matters to address. Just six rooms out of our 73 are not serviced by a lift and the only advice I can offer to you and any potential guest is phone up before your stay and ensure we have some details to...

Set on the hill above Pitlochry the initial impression on approach is of a luxury hotel from an earlier time. Inside this becomes more apparent. Obvious efforts have been made to upgrade the decor and the public areas are clearly newer than other parts of the hotel. A scenic view room on the second floor was a good choice. Sadly...

Hi, I completely disagree with your statement....our bar, restaurant and public areas are modern as are the vast majority of our rooms. We are a building constructed 145 years ago, of course there is a creak and slope here and there....some would say it is part of it's charm ! Our customer profile ranges from young couples, international travellers, business...

In a good location, nice looking hotel was quite clean. Bedroom good size, warm and had all you would want to make the stay comfortable. Dining room big tables close together no atmosphere different table for breakfast and dinner every day and different times to eat available. Sometimes busy but sometimes lonely. Food good well presented and wide choice. The...

Hi, I'm so sorry to read that you felt a little lonely here. I generally feel that more often than not single travellers tend to find themselves linked in with the run of things and get chatting to other single travellers and other couples and groups. Our attitude to this is always try and identify customers travelling alone and try...
