Stayed recently for a 3 night weekend break. On arrival we were greeted with a most unfriendly receptionist. She informed us we were not staying in the Hotel, but in the annex. She walked us to the Hotel entrance, waved her bandaged arm, pointed up the street and said "the second door on the right" charming I thought. We eventually...

Just back from a long weekend at Scotland's Hotel in Pitlochry. Celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. We were given an upgraded room to a suite. Lovely room for the age of the property. View was brilliant even though it was misty. Meals were good and service good. Many thanks to the evening manager an irish laddie he even served us...

Spent 4 nights and couldn't fault the food. Dinner consisted of a six course 'Taster meal' which was excellent . Breakfast was also had a good choice of menu. Hotel accommodation was excellent, clean and staff were very pleasant and helpful. 4 nights Dinner Bed and Breakfast at a cost below £250.00 was very good value. I will be returning...

I stayed here with my husband on a dinner, b&b tariff to get away from it all for the weekend. On our first night we were greeted by an absolutely delighted lady at reception, who on noticing how tall my husband was, immediately switched our room to one that was a bit more spacious and had a bigger bed. We...

Just back from a one night stay at this hotel we were not impressed with it at all, stayed in a standard double which was very small, even though it was a refurbished room the furniture was tired and old, the bathroom floor had no grout between the tiles, toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, black duct tape...

We stayed one night this week, a corporate booking by a government department, and were put in Room 136. We don't think £80 a night b&b a particularly knock down price. I appreciate that some of the furnishings in the room are fairly new and modern (chair, curtains, headboard) suggesting attempts to improve. But the underlying physical features of the...

Two night break, arrived March 23rd. Lounges around reception area looked very nice, lady on desk was very pleasant and helpful. The decor in corridors does look a little tired but this hotel doesn't pretend to be anything other than 3 star. I would say that's fair for the rooms (tv was a bit small) comfy bed, decent size room...

We had arrived earlier than the official check in time but our rooms were ready so we were able to unpack straight away. Our room had a double & a single...
