Location of hotel is excellent, accommodation excellent, food excellent, staff very attentive, our stay from start to finish was 5 star plus, ask for room 9 or 10 for a magnificent view across Pitlochry. I would recommend this hotel and will be returning.

We recently stayed for two nights during the week for a theatre break. We have stayed here four years running now and this time did not disappoint. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. There was a large group staying which meant it was a bit more lively than usual but we enjoyed our stay... More

A charming hotel in a charming town of old stone houses. What makes the Knockendarroch a standout is the friendly and highly competent staff and the wonderful food--silvery sea bream for dinner one night and of course the porridge with just a wee dash of scotch for breakfast. And the collection of single malts. I had the full Scottish breakfast... More

Beautiful home built in late 1800's. Very nice dinner service and exceptional food. Very comfortable. Short walk to the main street. The hotel offers recommendations for dining in town and the lunches at the Old Mill were excellent. If we are fortunate enough to return to Pitlochry we will stay here again.

We have just had the most perfect two night stay at Knockendarroch House as part of our motorbike tour around mainland Scotland and the Northern Isles. The whole experience from our initial phone call to enquire about availability, the arrival welcome and how we were looked after by the team during our stay was superb. Stepping into the hotel is... This is a really lovely and well run hotel. We had a nicely sized, nicely decorated corner room with beautiful views and good sized bathroom. The public rooms are really lovely and there are plenty of seating areas, again with beautiful views. The staff are exceptionally courteous and welcoming and the owner a great host. The food is absolutely amazing... More
