Nathalie was a wonderful host. The room was very comfortable with fantastic view, comfy bed, and very nice updated bathroom. Easy walk into town. Breakfast was fantastic - best porridge, croque-madame, and house-made marmalade. Nathalie gave wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. I wish we stayed more than 1 night!

I don't write reviews very often but felt the need after my stay at Poplars. From the time I booked to the time I left, Nathalie was so knowledgeable about the area giving great advice on places to visit from Pitlochry (the local whisky distillery is really worth a visit) to places further afield, too numerous to list. Our room...

I booked a room for 14th April asking IF it is possible to check in later that 6pm (their websites clearly states that you can at least ask). I got a very fast response indeed, that informed me that they cancelled my booking as they wouldn't be able to have us after 6pm. I replied explaining that I asked if...

Dear Isidora B Yes, it’s a shame getting a 1/5 review over an email. You are right, we ask guests to check if a late arrival is possible however you booked first telling us you’d be coming around 9pm. Isidora B, I then politely responded explaining we couldn’t accept a late arrival (on this occasion) so your booking was cancelled...

We stayed at the Poplars during a walking break with some friends and I felt the need to review our wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed by Nathalie & Jason into their home and were shown around the house to help orientate ourselves. Order breakfast the night before from an extensive menu for the reasons of minimizing food wastage and...

Our stop off in Pitlochry was topped off with our stay at the Poplers. It was our third visit to the town and we have stayed in a couple of other b&bs but there is nothing like the poplars. The hosts (Nathalie, Jason and of course Amber) were very friendly and informative. They arranged our evening dinner at Victorias which...

This was our first visit to Scotland, and we were welcomed like an old friend at this B&B! The Poplars is a spotlessly clean and well presented establishment, with beautiful decor and views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a very cozy feel but not too fussy. The en-suite was lovely and clean, and the shower always nice and...

We stayed two nights as a party of twelve people, a family gathering for a visit to the Enchanted Forest and can highly recommend The Poplars. A grand traditional house with great archictectural presence, the owners have invested a great deal of time, energy and money into modernising the house to a very high standard whilst retaining the traditional character....

Highly recommend Poplars guest house. Stayed for two nights with family whilst visiting the Enchanted Forest. Lovely surroundings and rooms spotlessly clean. House is a short walk to the town centre. The breakfasts were amazing, huge choice and very filling. Nathalie was an excellent host very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the area.
